Hi everyone,
this is my first time posting in this section. and I am really curious about trying steroids. So I'm going to ask several questions and hopefully you guys can answer them =). Just a little about myself I am 20 years old 5'9" at about 175 pounds. I've been working out for the past 2 years. I feel as though I can't get any bigger no matter how hard I try. But to the questions.
How long will I have to be on steroids to notice its effects?
What are some of the short/long term affects if I was to be on steroids for a period of 1 month?
Exactly what does steroids do? besides the obvious.?
How will it affect my genital regions? as i've heard that it shrinks your testicles. and will this be reversible once I am off it?
How frequent are you suppose to take it?
Which forms of steroids are better? I've heard of pill/injections.
Also, just by looking here, I see so many types of steroids, and like which are which? it seems really complex and stuff so just a rundown on it would be great as well.

Welcome to these parts. You are asking a lot of basic and general questions that can have answers that are 100 pages long. I suggest you spend a couple hrs. doing a little bit of research. Try and read a little bit about individual steroid profiles. This is a very complex science and one could write a book trying to answer all those questions. I'd probably wait another few years before using AAS, 20 is a tad bid young in my book.

But to answer some of your questions....
• You can notice physical changes after a few weeks, depending on the substance.
• You don't want to run a cycle for one month, most are run btw 10-14 weeks.
• Some side effects can include acne, hair loss, impotence, bad moods, liver scarring, etc. (but we take other things to combat these sides).
• Long/short term effects. All depends on what you are running and how much/how long.
• Steroids cause your muscle cells to grow.
• Your genitals will be fine if you follow the proper protocols (HCG, proper PCT, etc).
• Your balls will shrink if you do not use HCG during your cycle.
• If you don't use HCG during your cycle, when your cycle is over...your balls will go back to normal. Most of us don't like testicular atrophy so we use HCG during.
• Depending on your program and what you are using, you may have to use/pin 2 times a week...or every day. All depends.
• Injectable steroids are "better". They don't stress your liver as much as the orals do. Stacked cycles usually include orals and injectables.
• Yes, there are many many different kind of steroids out there. For beginners, test only cycles are usually recommended. Like I said, start reading their profiles and learn what does what.
• You have steroids that are used to "bulk" up, and there are steroids that are used to "cut".

Lastly, you are 5'9" and weigh 175 lbs. With your hight/weight ratio, you should be able to put on some more mass naturally. You said you don't think you can get bigger, please tell us what your diet is like. Diet is the most important factor in all these recipes! List your daily caloric and protein intake for us.

I generally try and eat as healthy as possible, but with my work schedule I sometimes eat perhaps 2 meals. I do not drink any soda's and prefer to drink orange/cranberry juices. I eat about 4-6 servings of veggies/fruits per day. umm. I haven't been able to count my calories and protein intake. But on average after my workouts I do consume about 50grams of protein from my protein shake. I've tried supplements such as CellTech, didn't like it nor did I see any results what so ever. I've tried NO products I did like it but I didn't like the crash. And tried various proteins. I only really like the ALL-WHEY brand. I know that diet is probally the most important aspect to weight training.
You mentioned that my age is a bit young to go on steroids, what would the ideal age be? mid 20s? early 30s?
And roughly how much would it cost realistically to go on steroids with the proper supplementation?

Yeah...you have to have your diet down solid before even contemplating using AAS. I would try and eat more than just two meals a day, I've found that several small meals throughout the day work better.

Calories...with your age/hight/weight, should fall someplace between 5000-7000 calories a day if you are looking to bulk and add mass. Your protein intake should be about 1.5-2gr per body pound every day.

And yes, ideally mid-late 20s to early 30s is about right. It's at this time in life where our bodies slow down the production of test. The price for an average first cycle can easily fall between $500-$1000. Depends on where you get it, how much you get, and if it's pharm grade or not.

im about 34 waist.. last time i checked my body fat was around 25% but that was about 3 years ago. and before i joined the military for a bit. so that prob has changed. but thanks for the tips. im guessin right now its just best for me to try and eat much more healthier. its been something ive been trying to work on for the longest time.
