Thinking about a trip to amsterdam.

My top tip...

Go to a Rokerij, get the Special Casablanca.
The nicest hash (in terms of flavour, not strength) I smoked there and very reasonably priced (Like less than half what people were paying for some of the skunk weed). In Amsterdam, price of hash reflects strength, but if you care more about having a nice smoke than getting super stoned then it's definitely worth having a look at some of the cheaper stuff.

can anybody just walk into the coffee chops there or do you have to have the green card shit?
 
Depends on where you're traveling from.
I actually just went to Amsterdam for the '10 Cannabis Cup and returned no more than 2 weeks ago. I spent roughly ~$2800 in two weeks.(Including EVERYTHING, plane, hotel, food, weed, etc.)
Be warned everything is super expensive though I went all around the city looking at shit and everything was terribly pricy.
