some inspiration...

sometimes it seems,
that life just goes round and round.
a never ending road to travel.
of things unseen
places unfound.

routine,
pattern,
each day the same.
things dont go as planned.
dreams get wet with the rain.

hundreds of thoughts
thousands of feelings.
every day a new dream.
but with dreams come
being let down.

no matter what the weather.
no matter how far you've come.
all the work thats been put in,
your hopes,
your aspirations.
your vision will never be undone.

i guess what im trying to do,
is to just let you know.
that no matter how far away you are,
no matter how far you've come.
the road ahead will be teadious and long,
but youre dream
YOUR vision will never be undone.

especially this one stanza... you summed up line for line a different person in my life:

"things dont go as planned." --> a very important person in my past, saying these exact words. and it being the motto i associated them with forevermore.

dreams get wet with the rain --> a personal association; i use rain and tears interchangeably a lot in my writing, and dreams getting wet with rain and a symbol of my dreams failing in some areas.
