Things to do while waiting in lines for raves?

I've never really thought about this until last weekend when I was sitting outside waiting for an hour to get into a local rave club.

Anyone have anything fun/cool things to do while waiting outside to enjoy the time? I had already dropped at that point and it seemed like that hour took forever to go by.

I'll be with a pretty big group if it makes a difference.


If it's a lame question, my apologies, but I'm relatively new to the scene and want to enjoy every experience.
 
If its a line for a MASSIVE the only thing to do is to try to stay alive.

Punks stealin cell phones, kids startin riots, bitches squattin down in the middle of the crowd to squirt a piss...second hand dirty blunt smoke from a nearby beaner

Just dont pop in line. Stupid waste of roll, have a wank instead mate.

It's a local rave club I'm speak of actually. I've only been to one "mini-massive" which was around 4000 people. This particular club only lasts from 3am-7am and that's well within my time frame for dropping just one.


Everything at this place is pretty safe, good people, and friendly, I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for fun things to do other than light shows and massages.

Like I said, maybe it's a silly question, but when it's freezing outside and everyone is huddled together, it would be fun to have something to do to pass the time.
 
In line is probably where I meet the most people at raves since once I get inside I spend most of my time dancing :D

Haha fair enough, I was just curious to what the rest of the list entailed.

I'm a very sociable person by nature as is, and when I'm rolling I usually introduce myself to everyone within a 10 mile radius. However, I've only rolled 4 times in my life and I'm still quite new to the culture.

I guess to add to the thread, I usually:
-Pass around my Vicks Inhaler(Not a fan of the rub stuff)
-Give out Kandi to random people
-Give out Ring Pops to girls that are dressed sexy
-Give hand massages
-Sometimes I'll buy a box of blowpops at the gas station and hand them out to everyone near me

Like many people I've met, I'm very very generous when I roll. So I usually like to fill my pockets with fun stuff and trade random stuff or just give stuff away.

If i know the queue is going to take fucking ages i just take a joint and a 2lt soda bottle full of a poison of choice (vodka, orange juice and a bit of GHB normally) and spend my time talking to everyone around me and making friends. I actually enjoy queuing as it gives you a chance to talk to people before the music overwhelms other sounds - you then meet those same people in the rave and stroke each other's faces, it's fun, trust me :).

But yeah, don't drop (as in eat) pills when you're queuing.

Just curious, but why do you guys say don't drop while you're outside/queuing? I have plenty of discretion as far as being discrete about it, but other than that I'm a bit confused. I'm taking all this in with open ears though. I party plenty and I'm old enough to drink legally, but I'm a baby in regards to the Rave scene/culture and MDMA.

Tell people about Pillreports and the need to test their shit!

Before you go make a quick list of the adulterated pills in your area - either print it out or save it to your phone and Bluetooth it / hand it out to anyone who is interested.

I love talking to people who are already mashed up as it makes the time go really quickly - IF its a hugh line, get your friend to keep your space and go chat to the security, as if 20$ will get you in quicker :D
 
Drink alcohol. If you can't drink outside then fill an empty fizzy drink bottle with a spirit + mixer.

i play pac man on my phone... something about it... repeatitive electronic noise.... white "pellets"... jsut gets me in the mood lol =D
 
Haha, last weekend, I experienced the most traumatizing line experience ever. Waiting in line for an hour with a short strapless dress on in 25 degree weather. I'm SO glad I wasn't rolling. To answer your question, I just talk to people in line.
 
as said, talk to people. you'll see them again inside and be instantly best friends, especially when you both off your tits.
 
Admire how clean/dirty your hands are and watch your hands flush red then white whilst tripping balls. The old finger in mouth trick.


Or, if you dont wana look painstakingly obvious, have a drink and a social with friends. I always find time goes quick when I'm rolling and a good conversation is going on.
 
Snort coke, Take a hit of some crack, anything to get the party started, and the time flying :)
