Things to do on Acid

watch the movie "Waking Life", alone, in a dark room, with the volume up really loud..

goto www.larrycarlson.com -- i've spent like 4 hours of a trip there before.. most of the time staring at the same flash video, although i didn't know it was the same.. i thought it was looping them all or something because it looked different every second.. took my breathe away... some are interactive with the mouse too, which really adds to the surreal effect
 
IMO that Larry Carlson thing could ONLY be cool on acid. UFO's and space ships flying around??? I think even if I was on acid I'd still think it was lame.

yea, but to make it even better, do the same thing in the middle of a forest on a warm summer day. fucking intense.

i dont like to listen to music with vocals when im tripping (Except for metal) because they tend to ground me too hard to reality. lack of vocals is the only way to dissolve (that and a resounding bassline around 33hz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Let me just say, that unless you are in a setting where you DON'T have to worry about burning you or anyone elses house, starting a forest fire, or setting off a fire alarm, you should not play with fire. I am usually in one or another of these settings, so fire is a no-no for me.

That said, holy shit, playing with fire while tripping must be intensely awesome =D =D =D
 
... and that site larrycarlson.com seems like it would scare the living shit out of me if I was tripping. Hell, it freaks me out when I'm sober :)
 
eh that sounds like a recipie for disaster for some reason. just make sure it isnt the Wash DC zoo so you dont become one of those idiots to jump the fence to play with the elephants.
 
One of my favorite things to do while on acid is play oldschool nintendo games and draw stuff. Playing mario bros. just seems so right when trippin, but its quite a challenge when the screen is melting. Tetris is fun while trippin too, I've gotten high scores on it that I just cannot beat without acid. Drawing is sort of a mystery on acid, it just sort of happens. You can't think clearly about what your gonna draw, but you end up makin some of the coolest pictures in the long run (and I suck at drawing)

Stare at blacklight posters.

Also, mix up some red wine and redbull. When you're on acid it's like the elixer of the gods. I can't even begin describe the taste/feeling you get when you drink it, but you will be thanking me if you try it.

Trippy music videos and movies are always fun too.

EDIT: Oh, and I almost forgot.....SEX!
 
Rollercoasters are fun, but hanging out in an amusement park waiting in line with a bunch of strange looking ppl crowding me isnt the best feeling, but an upside down backwards loop on lsd is quite fun.

You can do anything on lsd and have fun

yuck, i ate acid before a high school field trip to the zoo as a younger buck, and it most definately sucked. i didnt really think beforehand about how things like fake plastic trees (in this lifelike rainforest exhibit, in particular) and a bunch of caged animals would affect me. oh well.

these days when i do acid, i usually eat a shitload so im pretty much incapacitated for all intents and purposes. some things i do enjoy, however:

- lots of sex with a willing, and preferably tripping, partner.
- listening to vinyl records.
- live concerts/light shows/musical performances
- hiking/camping trips (try and seek out a nice trail, there are good resources on the web.)
- jamming (like muscially, you know) with friends, if you play any instruments.
 
My reccomendation is to pick up a full set of finger paints and a canvas to work on. Some people enjoy music/movies, but i personally find them overwhelming while tripping. Give yourself plenty of space, don't make commitments to hang out with friends while tripping (unless they know ahead of time). Give yourself time and space to explore the world of LSD.
 
I love adventuring into the wilderness on acid! It makes everything feel like a long ass journey to middle earth. Just make sure you don't get attacked by theives or dragons;) I always bring a big stick to smack things with when I'm trippin in the wild. Ya never know what might really be there and whats not there....
 
take a big stereo outside, blast pink floyd's first album, drink refreshing liquids, and stare at the wonderful amazing breath taking things known as nature.

a regular zoo wouldn't be fun at all. Lots of people looking at caged animals who were taken from there enviorment.

but on the other hand, a petting zoo would be great
 
get some finger paint and lots of paper....I love playing with paint on psychedelics....you get all messy, but you don't care...it's like being a kid again...plus you usually get some cool paintings to hang up....crayons are good too...oh and eat orange slices...they are amazing on acid
