Things I shouldn't take with zoloft.

I may be going to a festival this june and I will have the opportunity to do a smorgasbord of dRuGs. I only plan to trip on lsd and maybe smoke some opium, but you never know.

So is there anything specific I should avoid???

Zoloft will blunt a lot of the trippyness of LSD. You could be wasting your time.

DXM is one of the biggest NO-NOs you can possibly do with zoloft.
5-htp is another one.
Tramadol is another.
Demerol is another one.

So, you have to be a little bit more specific in your question, or you are gonna have a big ass list, as there is a ton of shit you shouldn't mix with zoloft.

A friend of mine was recently scripted both Zoloft and Tramadol by her doc ( :X fucking idiot! :X ) and she had quite a few symptoms of low-level Serotonin Syndrome, one of which included hearing voices.

Anyway, OP - It's good that you chose to ask before taking anything :)
You might be quite disappointed as to what you won't be able to take though, or substances who's effects will be blunted :\
 
Taking really high doses of diphenhydramine while on zoloft can also be dangerous as diphenhydramine is known to inhibit serotonin reuptake.

Apparently SSRIs and methadone don't mix well. Either because SSRIs inhibit the breakdown of methadone or this combination can cause serotonin syndrome as well.

According to Pfizer, sertraline is contraindicated in individuals taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors or the antipsychotic pimozide (Orap). Sertraline concentrate contains alcohol, and is therefore contraindicated with disulfiram (Antabuse). The prescribing information recommends that treatment of the elderly and patients with liver impairment "must be approached with caution". Due to the slower elimination of sertraline in these groups, their exposure to sertraline may be as high as three times the average exposure for the same dose.
 
Well suppose I took a shit ton of really good acid, would I trip?? That's the only thing I really care about to be honest. I can't imagine it's possible to not trip with enough.
 
You'll still physically and mentally be capable of tripping. You may notice differences in the trip itself, if you were to compare the trip on an SSRI and a trip off the SSRI.
 
Monstanoodle a friend of mine who has been on zoloft for years was also scripted a shitload of tramadol about a year ago. Some doctors just have no idea.... Lucky I was able to inform them of the danger and take it off their hands. ;)

Yea it's a good thing you caught them before they ingested any.
When I was scripted it a year or so ago I was still on Dosulepin (as I am still now) so I stopped taking it whilst I used the Tramadol.

I think small doses of each may not be too unsafe, but I'd still not risk it personally.
