Thing You Look For Most In a Partner, In One Word

Loyalty would be my choice. So much more though to expect when you have that. :)
It's more difficult than most people think imo.
 
It's a pretty good choice, one of the rarest things you can have. If someone's loyal then you should never push them away, the problem is that true loyalty is really hard to come by I think.
 
Reliability.
I know it's not the most exciting answer, but some people are very inconsiderate and don't keep commitments. If you say you're going to do something, do it. If you can't do it, don't say you can. So it's a bit like trustworthy.
 
Emotional maturity and ability to suppress outbursts from neuroses, and affection.

Not one word, but I don't think anything so important can be expressed in a single word.
 
Fairness.

Everybody is familiar with the "give and take" dynamic of relationships, but some people try to make it more of a "take and take" situation.
