thin walls and cracked smiles

these walls are still too thin
for my liking
and the lighting has a way
of making the cracks
in the walls
and my smile
more vivid than i can
handle.
these things i would say
if i could
if it wasn't always
as if
words empty me
silence quenching this need
for self deprecation
..we just humour her now...
all it ever was
and all i ever needed
was a shake
a smack to bring me back
out of these walls
and into your life
into your dreams as you
sleep peaceful and finally
at rest
calm and unknowing of
the emptiness you bring.

this relly reminds me of sittin in my boys house starin at the floor wishing we had something better to do than sit in his room barely able to keep our heads up let alone walk.
