Thick or thin

I'm pretty new at smoking Crystal and have fell in love with oil burners. I've seen the thick glass ones and also the thin ones. I myself have a thin glass piece but I was wondering if one was better then the other.

I feel like it's just preference. IMO thin glass ones tend to break easier then thick glass.. I'm no expertise tho. I dunno if it really makes any difference other then that..

Yeah that's what made the most sense to me. I don't think I would want to use a torch on a thin pipe
