Hush child,
Pull over your blankets,
The monsters cant get you there.
Dont let God puppet you,
Make you walk across hot coals,
Wearing a crown of thorns.
Shed off your black suit,
Brush of your dirty soul.
Why must you open my box?
Letting out my demons for the world to see.
Striking dissonant chords of dread.
My ghosts have already been woken,
My tomb has been open.
Resolve me thy God.
Resolve the Satan inside me.
Yet, I cannot get utopia.
I cannot grow up from my angst of realms.
The fire has consumed my desires.
Cycles of guilt and pain,
Rememberence of lost hearts,
Everyone was resolved,
Until my box was openned.
Disarmed my little son.
Wait until your older,
Wait until it's morning.
But for now,
Sleep my child.
Sleep in safety,
Sleep in comfort.
Evan
(I would like to dedicate this to phil who helped me weed out my nightmares. And to fizzy who is more of a friend than I ever saw before.)

sleep dear evan with no regards to demons who can not hurt you anymore.
sleep dear evan and dream of people and hope and better places
sleep dear evan and feel strength once again
Arise dear evan and reclaim everything youve lost for in you lay the keys to happyness

before love there are
memories of innonence.
after there are none...

So much beauty and strength and wisdom in you Evan, so much love and you never cease to amaze me. Don't lose the childlike-wonder, but let the child's fears go, you don't need them anymore darling.

The space between the tears we cry, is the laughter that keeps us coming back for more.
