These New Fentanyl Patches

What is up with these new Fentanyl patches? I usually get prescribed 10 100mcg/hr patches a month, and prefer either the mylans or watson/sandoz gel patches. Lately all i have been finding are the Aveva brand which i felt absolutely no pain relieve whatsoever, then i got the Teva brand which was horrible as well. whats the deal with these new worthless patches?

are you using them as prescribed or are you abusing them? meaning are you smoking the gel or eating it or shooting it or like our supposed to like a patch

its prolly all in your head or your tolerance might be up cause its not like they can give you less of the drug..maybe the way they are made they release the fent more slowly then the other patches...ive never knowingly done fent so i dont know what its like or have any info on it

i usually smoke and rub the gel on my gums when i get the gel ones, and chew the mylans.

It is difficult to keep up with the new anti-tampering measures. This may be a new one.

The Teva brand have been known to be worthless since their inception, both for pain relief and abuse purposes. We're talking the ones with the metallic backing, right? I know a lot of pain relief patients that bitched at their pharmacies to stock the mylans again after experiencing the worthlessness that is Teva. I am guessing the Avevas are something similar, and while I don't have a scientific explanation as to why they suck so badly, they just do.

lucky enough, i go to get my script filled, and what a surprise........WATSON'S!!!!!!!! im so glad because the others expect mylan, sandoz, and watson dont do anything to relieve any sort of pain. i just hope they keep stock

Can you get your doc to prescribe Actiq? (the pops) I never liked patches.

Phentanyl, to me, is a good "Sleeper". Meaning, extreme depression or suicidal tendencies warrant this drug.

Then again, I've only eaten the gel... so exempt this plz.

Can you get your doc to prescribe Actiq?

Generally, this is how pharmaceuticals are obtained by people.

But nobody can tell you how to con your doctor. Actiq is used for acute or breakthrough pain, the patches are for chronic pain. So depending on the nature of your condition, you'll get one or the other or even both.

i cannot get actiq from my doctor. im just glad that those newer patches havent been in my possession for the past few scripts
