This game of chess is foreign to me, it's hard to conceieve you as an enemy,
Maybe I'm soft so thats why I lose, or could be I don't understand the rules.
A lot of girls like to be treated bad, I don't understand so I think it's real sad,
It's been my experience in the past, playing these games our love won't last.
I could never even treat you wrong, I'de show you I care and write you a song.
I'de buy us dinner and take you out, try to show you what real love is all about.
I know sometimes I'm misunderstood, and maybe sometimes I'm up to no good,
All I need is a second to explain myself, maybe you'd love me if you knew my true self.
