Alcohol 'There's more coke than drink in Irish pubs' how true is this?

The subject line sounds like some kind of line a shrill community watch spinster hag may come out with after hearing snuffling noises in a toilet one night

That said there used be plenty of shite coke around Ireland; usually around 90% crushed up pills and a sprinkle of the yayo sold for inflated prices, but I'm sure there's okay stuff available too

I'm not Irish, but I was a fan of his mrs (the daughter of Leslie Crowther) who showed her twat on several occasions in Club and Men Only magazines in the 70s... :D


I'll never forget a wank I had behind a hedgerow in a quiet country lane on the way back from school, all over her nearly trimmed blonde Bush.

Phil Lynott was a decent singer, but I preferred his minger...

The quality of coke here has come up from an admittedly low base this last few year but the Irish consumer is not in general a connoisseur of this powder. A friend of mine worked for a box operation as a mixologist, they were getting bricks with cartel stamps breaking them down and sending them out diluted with mix, but some customers got more mix than others, there was one private customer with a weekly order who got mix only and one day my guy who can be a bit of a fuck up put the pure from the brick into his package instead of magic mix and your man rang up and complained and the boys had to exchange the mix for the pure. I guess the guy was more into the idea of cocaine than the actuality of it.

My Mother is from Coolock and married my Father there (in St. Brendan's on the Malahide Rd. in front of the village centre), resulting in me spending between 1 & 2 months a year over there up until 2006, my maternal grandparents gaff being a second home to me before they died. Despite my cousin and his late Father (my Mothers eldest bro.) being massive cokeheads it was always shit with him eventually driving over here on multiple occasions to buy single g's from my friends, 10 of which he could take back at any one time and dilute by 50% with no one complaining. Your comment about the idea being a bigger driver than the drug effect itself is spot on for so many users regardless of locale.

And that's interesting about crowthers daughter, I thought him a respectable man but clearly him pimped the daughter out on some level for her to get her bits out for mags, surely she couldn't have been that hungry?
None so dangerous as a hungry woman.
They will eat you alive and swallow you up. A greedy woman dangerous too. But they are easy kept at bay.
Really this info about crowthers daughter confirms what I see in the entertainment industry and how people get to heady heights on the price is right "do it for daddy's friends" aye, it's in either porno or skag boys, revolting. You don't pimp any woman out, never mind your daughters.
It's an easier thing to fall into than u realise.
I like to tell women in trouble to learn the art of stealing food when hungry. It's a very important skill. I digress as ever. It's the methadone your honour. It brings out my anger and agitation.

Er, I don't think there's any suggestion of Crowther pimping his daughter out. She was a grown woman and did as she chose (for which I was very grateful ;) )

I think we need to fit Christy Moore in there too somewhere, can't be leaving him out it would be rude and I think St.P might be cross...

I've seen all of them live actually...Rory Phil and Christy that is...I think I missed out on St.P's touring days unfortunately
