There must be a Creator

And it's not illogical that God sent his son to die for us. It's a completely different circumstance than the situation you gave. God loves us and he wanted us to have a second chance. So we wouldn't all have to pay for the evil trend Adam started. He gave us a way to righteousness. He gave us his son who was perfect on earth so that he could take on all the sins of the world. All of the sins before bad after him. He neared the weight of those sins on his shoulders so that we could have a second chance.

Yes but, since 2,000 years ago, the sins have increased or decreased? Homosexuality is legal now, which is against Leviticus 18:22 which says:

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

And you can have the chicken and the sushi and whatever else you want. Jesus paid for your sins they are forgiven. But taking advantage of that does not make you Christian. If you truly love God and you truly believe Jesus died for you, you don't need to eat everything at the restaurant. You don't want to. Sinning is bad why would I do that when I know it's a directly hateful act towards God. I'm a Christian I love God. I'm not perfect so I know I can't always not sin but I don't go around trying to sin as much as possible because it's "paid for" would you do that to a friend that paid for your diner?

Why not? If my friend allows it, he is ENABLING me. He should punish me not enable me lol. And, in modern psychology, "enabling" is regarded as bad as sinning. Parents who enable their children to stay home and do nothing are worst sinners then the children themselves!

It's not a failed protocol. Just because we are baptized that doesn't change the nature of our flesh. Just our soul. Our flesh is still sinful and wants to do sinful things but our soul is cleansed. We are not strong enough to fight the urges of the flesh all of the time so we still sin after baptism. And yes he was still a physical body raised from the dead that's why the stone was moved that's why he had holes in his hands and feet but how would Jesus if he was just a regular guy move a boulder by himself from the inside?

Brother, if today, I come and rape your sister, will your father ask me to pay him 50 shekels of silver and then let me marry her, without her being able to divorce me? Will he? Because it is mentioned in Deuteronomy 22:28-29 which says:

"If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives."

I come and say I did a sin of the flesh and Jesus paid for my sins. Then show you the Bible with that verse in Deuteronomy, what will you do?

I would say sin has definitely increased but what does that have to do with anything? And if you're friend was paying for dinner you would just order as much as you could to take advantage of him? IMO that makes you a bad friend but to each their own. And yes the parents would be sinning for allowing sinful behavior I would agree

So Jesus failed his mission! He came here, paraphrasing you, to die for our sins as the blameless lamb of God, to give us a second chance, and now we sin harder then ever! You realize what he's done? He's enabled us. But of course, we don't agree that he's done that :)

At least it wasn't his intention. God is never wrong and does not fail.

Maybe like 4000 years ago that would be cool but times have changed. Would you be forgiven for raping that girl if you truly believed in Christ? Yes would you still go to jail for raping that girl in today's society? Yes

Jesus didn't fail anything there are ore Christians in the world today then ever before and more are baptized every day. But with more Christians comes more non Christians and more non Christians=more sin. Just because there is more sin in the world at large doesn't mean Christ has failed. The world is a sinful place. I would say if one souls is saved from the entirety of earths existence then Jesus dying was worth it

But taking advantage of that does not make you Christian.

Believe it or not, I have not met a single true Christian in my life, why? Because the Bible offers a falsification test, in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 16, Verse 17-18 which says:

"These [a]signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

I haven't met a single Christian who passed the falsification test :)

Well I wouldn't pass either I suppose but I will believe nonetheless. It's better to believe in Jesus and be wrong then to not believe and be wrong plus it gives me purpose. Good debate! You clearly blew me out of the water but it was fun trying to come back anyways

Thank you too bro, peace out :)

1) You have things the wrong way round. We are able to be here because the earth is as it is. It isn't as it is so we can be here..
2) I suggest you read up on the theory of evolution by natural selection and the origin of life.
3) Nobody knows how life started but the most logical explanation is that after billions of years of chemicals bashing about in all different environments eventually caused a self replicating "life" form.. Whether that was on volcanic beaches, underwater hydrothermal vents or an alien planet.

We can't replicate it scientifically YET. Just as we couldn't fly 100 odd years ago and we certainly couldn't get to the moon.. let alone other planets. Although they're probably bad analogies.. Life had billions and billions of years. You may think you understand the magnitude of time that is but i don't think anyone really can.

I suggest reading through this website: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/evo_01

May I ask what purpose believing in Jesus gives your life?

Everything in creation has a creator.

Ksa are you a Muslim? atheist?

I would argue that there is enough chaos and imperfection in the world that points to not have a creator. Or a shabby one with a distinct lack of detail.

Does a crater have a creator or is it just what happens when an asteroid hits earth? Does fire have a creator or is it just what happens when dry grass gets too hot in the sun? Did the wreckage left behind after the japanese tsunami have a creator or is that just what happens when a huge tsunami heads into town?

If we were created, why do we have vestigial genes?

Yeah and probably wouldn't have created a tree that grew apples that condemned the human race to original sin..
