The year that's been

I love this forum, this one called words
A place for expression,
Where I can find inspiration
An avenue through which
to vent my angst.

It's where I first wrote
Of my despair
Of depression
Of my hate
Though you would have probably noticed,
I've been writing about love of late.

I've passed that stage of anger
No need for it now
Why waste emotions and time over person
Where seeds of discord and deceit
They've tried in vain to sow.

Life goes around in circles
People come and go
Change is always inevitable
As each of us all know.

So Judas some can claim to be,
Saviours or kindred souls
But I won't wait around to see.
I've found what I've been searching for
A love, a life, I found me.

12 months have passed since my first writing
A tumultous yet wondrous year it's been!
We've been through ups and downs together
Made friends and enemies
Now here I'll say my thanks,
and end this somewhat disjointed soliloquy.



A big thank you to all who've read my rantings and posted advice, those who've been inspirations and friends. It's not a farewell really, just some time off for the moment to reflect the past year.

I liked this bis....and share your feelings, it's great having a forum for expression like this is; and sometimes you need some time away, but I think that's a good thing. I'm least creative when I'm content with my life, so I always consider it a good thing when I can put the notebooks under the bed for a while again...
