You saw my pain
You saw the me that had been hiding away afraid to come out for so many years
You called to her and asked her to play
She ran out and hasn't looked back
You encouraged, supported, motivated and inspired me.
The world did not see you were saving me!
You've never judged or betrayed
You've never lied or abused.
The world saw you as confused
The world saw you as spontaneous
The world saw you as laxidazical.
They were blinded!
Their "confusion" was your protection
Their "spontaneous" was your way of enjoying beauty
Their "laxidazical" was your way of being happy
The saddest part of this story...
I've known since the beginning
You believed the world.
I've never understood
Why a beautiful delicate butterfly
Would cover its brilliant colors
Inside of a monster's body
The world knows you are meant to shine
That's why they hold you down
The world knows your potential
That's why they test you
From the beginning
I know you couldn't see everything I saw.

have changed your life.
