I am not very good at writing but as I have learned you get better with practice. I have been playing around with a few things and here is one of them.
You may be the only man
I have ever really loved
I will love you forever
That is why I must say goodbye
You may not love me now
And you may never love me again
All I know is that there was a time,
when you were in love with me....
Knowing I had that love
makes the pain, the sorrow,
the heartache,
all worth it in the end.
To know that I loved and was loved in return
That is all I need in life
I only hope that one day
I will love and be loved again.
 
Girl,,,,,, don't worry about practice makes perfect, your words were from the heart ,,, nothing can be more perfect then that,,

i think you've found the secret of love.... being able to let go at the right time. i wish you all the best luck in love sweetie. there's nothing i love more than coming in here and reading some happy poetry :)
