I'm not much of a pill head, but I got in these dihydrocodeine 60 mg pills, and wow they're nice. I've read on Erowid and other places but get different amounts as to what is too much. Could some EXPERIENCED opie heads give me some good advice? I weigh bout 170 and hold my stuff pretty well. Since I'm just discovering this wonderful new world, I'd like some advice on how to get the most enjoyment out of it. Oh yah and I've been taking about 300-360 mg each time.

Jase- I don't know what sort of advice you want...DHC is a very weak opiate, the best advice I can give you is get some stronger pills.
See if you can get some Hydrocodone.

The main thing you need to worry about is the apap (Tylenol) too much of this is really bad for you, especially over the long haul.......The recreational dosage for most vicodin, and other apap opiates is really high in Tylenol.
This becomes even more complicated when you add booze to the mixture.
Not like it isn't done though....you will be OK. if you want to figure out what a good fun dose is, just move up in increments.

I have to disagree. 'really high' is such a relative term. However, even for someone with my tolerance, the level of APAP ingested for a recreational dose of Hydrocodone isn't much of a concern.
An opiate virgin can feel great off 20mg. Even if they only have the 5/500 pills, that's only 2 grams of APAP...People eat extra strength tylenol (500mg) like candy.
Sorry If I'm sounding ignorant here, but I thought DHC was the stuff in vicodin minus the acitaminophen. I've taken vicoden before, but I had a lot more fun off the DHC's...probley cause I took so much. I wanna experience the REAL world of opiates, but injecting stuff isn't really my thing. Sooo...you opiate heads give me some advice. Also, what is the max dose on the DHC's? I've looked, but come up with different numbers.

If you want to have more fun, like SL55 said, find some stronger pills. As for the max DHC dosage, that totally depends on you. What is your body weight and how much of a tolerance do you have? The worst that is going to happen if you take too much is you'll just feel sick to your stomach and have to wait for that to go away. Just try different doses and see what works for you. That's the way that works best for me.

. Anyway, what I'm getting at is I don't wanna kill myself and someone told me (aparrantly uninformed) that the max dose on em was like 450mg. I thought I had some strong pills, but apparantly I don't. I've taken 4 hydrocodones (the 5/500) and felt great, but still better off the DHCs. I'm not meaning to sound like a moron here, but I thought hydrocodones were what I have with the acitiminophen added? I tried researching this, but it seemed all the different info I got didn't match up. Guess I need to go back to opiates 101. Anyway, SL55 gimme some thoughts or suggestions you opiate whore! Just to clarify, I've been thru the whole rolling and pilling stage (I'm just visiting again for awhile

Dihydrocodeine is a semi-syntheitic opiod used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. It's simply a mixture of aspirin, caffeine, and DHC (whatever the exact painkiller is, I don't know). The caffeine is added to counter the dopey effects of the narcotic.
The max dosage is dependent totally on you. Every narcotic effects people differently. The only way to find out how much to take is just to do trial and error with yourself. This isn't a dangerous drug that you are going to damage your body with. You've already tried several pills. You can just add another one or two to that.
I'm not sure exactly what it is you're asking. People will flame me for this, but you can always mix some alcohol with the pills. I usually do with DHC. I'm going for the oxys, even though they're hard to get I hear. I'm a scheming bastard though hehehe, so I'll get em.
