I'm a Celebrity started tonight. Helen Flanagan is on it, which is nice. Shame she's supposed to be a bit of a cunt - it should help me feel better about oogling her. There's something fun about certain celebrities having an on-screen breakdown.

Anyone following Film4's 30th-B.Day-British-film-celebrations?

There was Walter on which has one of Sir Ian Mckellen's most fantastic roles (he's a fuckin Don) and The Crying Game which I'd never seen before stupidly, which was also quality.
Oooh - And a short called "Baby" that's a rare gem.

Other than that, Attenborough ofcourse aaaaand... Brain's gone.
Anyhoo, the crappy weather and my recent bout of [tries to remember the medical term for really wanting to do an activity but just not being able to] it's good there's atleast some good telleh on.

I know what you mean by messy... But I think it adds to getting an incling into Walter's mind. But I did feel a bit let down at the end, just wanted that bit more - Or to be shown the "Loving Walter" version, that'd have been top n I'm at a loss as to why they didn't :?
 
I bet seeing it back then would have brought so much more to it with regards to the issues that are expressed in it.
 
Oh aye, it was hard hitting, especially for a wee laddie with a sheltered childhood like me.

Mind you my Dad likes to go on about how he worked in a hospital ward for a while and spent a lot time wiping folks bums.
 
New series of Limmy's Show on tonight 10pm BBC2 Scotland. Never saw it first time round, spent most of Friday night watching clips on Youtube. I think it's a mixed bag but when it works it's very funny (Dee Dee is amazing).
 
I've never seen any of his TV show only stuff on the net before he was famous. It was always hit and miss then too. I'll need to look out for it.

I'm now up to date on series 2 of Homeland, been good so far. %)
 
finished boardwalk empire season 1 the other day. worth watching
