Downloaded latest episode of Game of Thrones. Im totally hooked on this show now, top quality !

Yeah same here, was a class episode.

Guys, if you like the series, you just HAVE to get the books. Simply the best series of books I've ever read. And I've read a lot :) The characters just leap out the pages at you. The series is close though, you can tell George R R Martin was involved in a big way.

Oh and on another note, did anyone catch The Secret of the Superbrands last night on BBC3? Quite interesting in a cynical consumer manipulation kinda way: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b011fjbp

Like, I didn't realise that Sony has lost billions on their PlayStation over the years. Each unit costs them something like $600 and they sell at around $400 or something. The reason being that they didn't want to loose out in the HD DVD or Blu Ray format wars like they did way back in the video format wars, so ensured that they got off to a head start by making millions of living rooms Blu Ray ready. Kinda like one big loss leader then. But yeah, worth a watch if you like a big dish of cynicism. I know I do.

Thanks, will give that a watch on iplayer later. I love a big dish of cynicism. Will probably just make me more angry and disillusioned with the world though.

Oddly enough, I don't find Richard Herring very funny at all, even though I seem to recall hearing that some of my fave bits on fist of fun and gmwrnj were his creations...

Stewart Lee live must be great, I've got 'if you prefer a milder comedian...' and it's hillarious, especially the bit where he goes into the audience. =D

I saw one clip on youtube a few months ago and thought it was great so then watched a ton more clips then bought all his dvds and his book, then me and angelsmoke went to see him live. All within the space of about 2 weeks 8)

I posted a comment in the gibberings thread last night that no Stewart Lee fans noticed, about pear cider, was lost on bnb though, lol.

Same man, I don't like that Richard Herring cunt at all. Stewart Lee is a fucking legend though. Nearly had to punch my mate a couple of weeks ago because we were hanging about his flat comedowned to fuck while everyone else was back out at the pub, I was controlling the telly & Stewart Lee was on. He told me to get him off because he hated him, argued it a bit then thought "Fair enough, his style probably isn't for everyone, I can see how someone wouldn't like him" so I started rallying through the channels again until he told me to stop when he spotted Lee Evans. Lee FUCKING Evans???!?? Cunt actually tried to tell me that Stewart Lee was shite but Lee Evans was amazing. Thought I might have to take the hit for a new TV & just launch his out the window.

Stewarts Lee's show tonight was alright, it would have been a lot better if he hadn't just reused all of the exact same material that he used in his recent live set "Vegetable Stew" I guess not everyone that watched it would have been to see him live so it will be new for them. Was good stuff, and the joke near the end about crack made me laugh out loud, but the rest of it was funny but not really laugh out loud because I had heard it all before a couple of months ago.
