I am currently in the initial phases of patenting two chemically unrelated, novel antibiotics--one for oral administration, the other an injectable--after which time the patent rights will be auctioned off.
Both chemotherapeutic agents are designed to better penetrate the cerebrospinal fluid than existing antibiotics, many of which have long ago by now encountered problems involving drug resistance.
Although each of these new drugs has been specifically designed to combat Treponema pallidum in particular, there is little to no doubt in my mind that they will active against a vast array of clinically relevant pathogenic bacteria, especially in the first 20 years of commercial availability. These are not the first drugs I have designed de novo that worked quite well; just the first medical ones. lol.
Finallly, I have neither shared with anyone else the structure of either chemotherapeutic agent nor have I written out their structures on so much as a scrap of paper yet, so please don't ask at this point for obvious, proprietary reasons unless of course you're somehow affiliated with, say, a multinational drug corporation such as Merck, Pfizer, etc. or philanthropic organization such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, for example.
