Hi all,

How's everyone doing now.? Hope all is well and people have more or less recovered. Does anyone know if that whack shit is still on sale. No, i dont intend going back for more, just wonder if after the media reports, the HSE warning and of course forums like this, are headshops actually still selling the shit.

Just wonder also where this whole legal high scene is going. I mean I know a load of stuff is banned now, but like a few years ago when that scene first took hold, stuff like salvia and kratom were genuinely worth experimenting with. But ivory wave, NRG-1, whack, seems the idea these days is to cause as much mayhem as possible. Just hope now that the word is out there and theres not another 40 casualties next week.

I heard a worrying story yesterday. some guy went into a headshop and asked the girl working if had she any powder, she showed him the product on display and said that one is €30 but this one is better (showed him a pack of whack!) "How much is that he replied" I am guessing he didn't read the paper or watch the news lately. She told him €10. "Why is that only €10 if it's better. "She told him straight up " we are getting hassle form the cops for selling this stuff, so we are just getting rid of it.

I am trying to find out where this shop is, We don't have one in the town where I live, I only heard this story second hand. If I do find out, I am going to name and shame this shop.

Not on here you're not cos that would be sourcing. Why hassle the shop owners anyway? They aren't allowed to give you any information about these products by law (although many do, obviously) and dosed appropriately it's probably fine. If it really is similar to NRG-1 a dose is around 20-30mg - that's 50 doses per gram not a gram in a few lines. Take it out on the manufacters of the crappy product not the shop owners who probably don't know anything about it themselves.

I have always researched drugs before i took them , to make an educated decision on what im poisoning my body with , until last week i got a gram of whack last minute , without any looking into it... bad idea

took a gram of whack and the bones of a gram of coke sunday night , no euphoria just speedy kind of buzz , took last hit bout 2 pm monday , went upstairs with a girl who was taking it , and both our sex drives went crazy , was at it for a bit until severe amounts of sweating and over heating of the body , took 2 showers , i think this is where it gets bad ..

i was up for 70 hours , thinking i was losing my mind but holding it together cos i knew it was the drugs , keep zoning in and out , i was hearing things voices and music that wasnt there , body is shaky and and eyes feel glued open .. i zoned out for a while and realised i was looking at porn for 11 hours straight , felt like 2 hours , very weird

feels like my nervous system has been dipped in acid, also have awful headache

heart rate has been about 90 plus for bout 4 days ,

only got to sleep using slepp abs and xanax....

i have been eating as healthy as i can lots of fruit and veg and water , i found that meditating is brilliant , watching comedies etc....

DONT SMOKE WEED ... itl onl make you wirse i found ....although didnt stop me


anyway went for drinks last night , at end of the night felt very bad , its a week on feel a lot better still find myself staring at nothing sometimes , but im goin to avoid all neurotoxins and might go for a run later ... dont think il be right for another week . but i think im very lucky

i know of a few people who have are in the mental home at the moment whos minds have snapped

Got a bit of inside info last night....Apparently whats in WHACK! is everything that was basically banned all thrown into a pot and mixed together....Anybody who has had blood taken in the hospital ask what was in it.

The people in the shops selling this know EXACTLY what they are selling.

Would be suicidal for vendors to do that... but that doesn't mean they wouldn't. Samples of NRG-1 (in theory legal naphyrone) from certain vendors were recently independently tested and found to contain MDPV, a mystery cathinone and no naphyrone whatsoever and hence are completely illegal (in the UK and Ireland). Other samples apparently really are naphyrone and still others are complete bunk. As I said before, brand name legals simply cannot be trusted and should be avoided by anyone who values their health

The Head shops were really good before the ban, I never thought I would set foot in one until i discovered Blow. better then any illegal drug that I have tired and Half the price. Not sure about prescription drugs, as my doc wont give me anything good, apparently I have a "Possable Problem" i Cant even get a mild sleeping tab,

I too wonder about prescription drugs. Have you ever looked up side effects from these.. the lists can be endless. And to think that these are approved for use by our Government and our doctors happily prescribe them knowing they are only a quick fix and sooner rather later they will be needing to give you more drugs to combat the effects of the ones they had just given you --- and the vicious circle continues.

Back to 100%....I cant remember the last time my body has been so healthy.Since that happened I've stopped drinking also.

you guys really rely on head and sex shops for drugs?? I've often wondered about the stae of narctics in Ireland, but wouldn't prescription pills and such be the best deal??

I live in ireland too and can get every other drug known to man, this 'headshop' nonsense has been going around here for awhile, dont know why anyone would pay for this rubbish, but like the lads above i wouldnt buy cocaine in this country - i get my prescriptions and smoke a bit of weed. To be honest I think alot of people are buying the headshop drugs because its a sad craze that caught on over here. Me and a friend of mine stopped another girlfriend of ours from snorting aload of crap that is sold as a bath salt. I mean i know i've snorted my oxy but balt salt is kinda pusing the envelope a bit too far. From now on i'll be sticking to ma herbs and i think evryone else should do the same.

The Headshop "Craze" Caught on, because what they were selling before the ban was good, much better then anything that could be bought Illegally, now its all messed up

Since 2008 the availability of decent MDMA pills has fallen (although the last few weeks have happily seen that trend reversed) while the potency of the products in the headshops has increased. Many people preferred to buy over the counter as opposed to meeting a dealer to pick up pills (which were most likely bzp or pips anyway) and risk being caught with an illegal substance and face prosecution etc...
The legal pills / powders were also quite cheap in comparison to MDMA and cocaine.

Personally I only ever used the headshops for weed substitute until I realised the buzz was horrible, I've had some powders and pills from the shops but never went in to buy them, I never enjoyed ANY of them!

I'd like to pose this question though (to all concerned), which came first, the lack of MDMA or the availability of substitutes? I ask because weeks after the headshop ban MDMA pills are to be found easily again. Coincidental?

My opinion is the opposite to you. I haven't bought a decent illegal E for almost 15years In fact I have long since given up trying to find one, I would now only take e if I was given for nothing. Not sure but MDMA now and back then were completely different experiences. I gave up smoking weed/Hash about 9 years ago as I found it too much of a downer (for me anyway). the speed I bought 12-15 years ago was far better then the coke out now. I only bought coke as I thought it was the only option left.
So when I discovered the headshop products before the ban, I found them far superior then anything I had tried Illegally. Although you make a fair point when you say it was safer buying something that was not illegal. I would have no problem staying with my local dealer, if what he had was any good. Althugh the price of coke has droped since the ban.

why bother with coke, you have no idea what is in it what its cut with or if what your putting up your nose is really cocaine. Stick to something that you know 100% what it is. the thought of acetone and other cutting materials being put up my nose besides the racy high that just makes your heart race and creates paranoia... whats the attraction to cocaine ?!?!?!?

I do not indulge in coke but my friend I have deffinantly watched cut with it and kept it in along with other disgusting chemicals I would never want to go near let alone up the nostril. bleh. get a good ol prescription drug or some nice bud.

Any recommendations for prescription drugs. I like a bit of weed, but there's seems to a drought at the moment. I enjoyed some of the head shop powders in moderation but got burned with the whack. Looking for a safer alternative. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
