(I apologize for the unkempt mess of a write up I just painted with my keyboard but I know you guys are the best to turn to with this stuff and I know you'll understand.)
Alright guys, long time lurker, first time poster. When I was going to make this small write-up I chose this site over other's because of your community seems to understand the most and seem to be the most knowledgeable.
I have some paid time off coming up soon, I will W/D then. I am stuck with it for the time being if I want a job.
To my story, I have been using Phenibut for over a year now. I got into it about a year after had cold turkey w/d from Effexor. I am addicted to Phenibut, it has been hindering lots of the social aspects of my life. To cope, I've always done a weekend taper, or sometimes cold turkey on the weekend. The one time I had done a weekend cold turkey(would have been back in October) and suffered the consequences from my appetite/digestive tract for 2 weeks following the weekend(just had to raise the dose to about 2g and I could eat again). The most I have taken has been 6g a day. I don't know if this is high for those with Phenibut addictions. Yesterday I had 4.5g (afraid my order wasn't going to arrive so I rationed). Also, I work in a call center so the mental strain is always on and anything to take the edge off helps. I suppose I should let you in on what else I take on my weekend and maybe you can tell me if any of these should hurt my taper:
Amphetamine salts 20mg 2x daily
Omega 3 EPA/DHA 2x daily
Huperzine x2 daily
Bacopa Monniera 600mg(just came in the mail today) once daily
Vitamin D 2000IU daily (I think I may kick it up to 3000IU, wouldn't hurt right?)
L-Tyrosine x2 daily
L- Phenylalanine x2 daily
L-Theanine when needed(750mg daily)
Valerian Root when needed (1000mg dose works out swell half hour after a sub-lingual Phenibut F.A.A.)
Picamillon 50mg 3x daily
Choline Bitartrate 700mg once daily
Inositol, I've been working on 6g a day and slowly working up from there
L-Tryptophan, at night to help wind me down
Cannabis(dank, thinking it's hybrid with more sativa), at night to help wind me down
And to my point, my goal through these weekend tapers(or just set-back's) is just to get myself down to like 1.5g to be a perfect spot come Monday morning without any interference from the substance's I have listed in this post. I read on drugs-forum some guy suggested to, in the event of a real taper, take like 1g twice a day to avoid any complications, or to take 2g before bed(which I am leaning towards as of today to avoid the appetite suppression and bowl disruption). I also have a handful of Trazadone's that were given to me from somebody that have proved effective to getting me to sleep, to stay asleep, even if not restful sleep and a little groggy in the morning.
In the past, I have used Noopept for about 2 months, I had a car accident and I didn't feel right taking Noopept because my ability to retain information seemed weaker(could of been a small concussion) so I discontinued using it. It always helped on my weekends with irritability and felt more at ease. Huperzine A is working out fantastic for memory and I'm hoping Bacopa will continue with the progress.
A few other thing just came in the mail today:
Magnolia Bark- have used in the past, I know it works but I feel like the GABA-A may have a rebound effect during Phenibut W/D
5-HTP- Haven't used it before, but I know L-Tryptophan can make me sleepy
Baicalin- basically skullcap, just tried and had good results.
Aniracetam- EVERYTHING I have read about this racetam sounds like everything I have been looking for. (please, let me know if this is alright to try out today)
Lastly, I had my first Shroom trip by myself 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. I was tapering that weekend and I decided to take 2-2.5g of Phenibut half hour before 1.7g of Shrooms and everything worked out great. I'm highly considering replicating this experience again tonight.
