Is there a other reason for using radio frequency instead of Bluetooth or WIFI. Besides energy reasons i wonder. There where a lot of warning s about misuse of the last two by criminals to gain access to your ... whatever smart phone or LAN network with tools.

Mainly via Bluetooth i recall and unsecured WIFI. Being weak spots

Rf is much better for going through thick walls and has a better range ,certainly better than Bluetooth
Besides that I don't know to much about it
I do know rf is used for lots of things like energy companies switching on your electric heating

Really good today, missed most of it due to commitments though, but can’t complain about those, it’s fun to rehearse.

Tomorrow apparently is going to be really hot. Be a garden day for sure.

Today is my first day of the year without having a vest underneath my work shirt.

This may be a little premature, but it's looking good so far.

There's an old Yorkshire saying which is pretty damn true in this country:

"Ne'er cast a clout, till May is out"

Which means 'don't remove your winter clothing until the start of June'.

I forget if i said already but i'm seeing sun too. In fact looking out the window it looks like the sun just peeked out for sunrise. Gunna go up to the apartment roof, 5th floor, read and face the sun. I haven't read all year, aside from Monday. Take me away, somewhere out of my head. Then maybe when i come back i'll have a fresh perspective. Like waking up in the morning, having a clean slate before the outside world makes me spiral

Edit - starting w darkside of the moon, never listened to the whole album in a row I don't think

It's amazing how much better you feel under blue, sunny skies. Its like a drug.

I feel depressed every winter, but as soon as the sun comes out, it's like a massive weight lifter from my shoulders.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a very real thing for me.

However, I'm not good in hot weather, so it just shows that there's no pleasing some cunts...

Ever tried supplementation with a decent dose (up to 4000 IU) of vitamin D?

I used to think it was bollocks or only for darker skinned people, but a wizard of a doctor analysed my regular bloods, saw I was deficient in phosphate and then found that my vitamin D was critically low.

I now take it every day, and it made winter a lot more bearable. You might not be critically low, but it could make a real difference.

Thats a fair point, but i doubt that my vitamin D levels are low as I'm out in all weathers all year round.

Plus, I handle vitamin D on a daily basis as, believe it or not, its one of the most effective rat poisons on the market. Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol) in overdose seriously disrupts calcium regulation leading to an excess in the bloodstream and subsequent kidney failure. There is no known resistance, and no risk of secondary poisoning to predators.

On the downside, there is no antidote...

Even so with our dismal winters where the days are so short, and we literally may not see any sunshine for weeks at a time, let alone get the recommended daily minimum of 20 minutes exposure of sunlight to a sufficient area of skin, for the vitamin d to be 'generated', or w/e the exact process is, I can't recall.

I believe a majority of Brits, and those that live further North than us, have chronic vitamin D deficiencies over the winter.

Even if we ever get any winter sun, I'm not sure if there is enough strength to it, to help with vitamin D issues.
