Been pissing down on/off here today, noticeably cooler than for ages too, hmmm
 
Had to put the heating on for a bit this morning, for my 6am shit, shower, and shave.

It wasn't freezing but definitely on the chilly side.

This isn't good for Mid - September! :mad:

I might have to change over to my winter duvet soon too at this rate. I never turn the radiator on in my bedroom, I just layer up under the winter duvet, and as many blankets as necessary. It always feels toasty warm. I like a cool room for sleeping, I can't bear over heated bedrooms, it's not just being directly Scrooge-like.
 
No need for heating yet, but I'm wearing a German army shirt (remember them, eighties / nineties kids?) over a Darkthrone t-shirt. So that's layers for the first time since perhaps late April.

Good for the wallet, because I don't really want to sit on the back step and smoke a cigar in the drizzle.

I'm extremely warm blooded (having grown up in the frozen North...not as north as you now mind) which is great in winter but if it's anything over 22 degrees or so I'm struggling.

Anyway today's weather here has been damp and slightly humid, a little rain but not much at all. Grey. Felt like a storm may be brewing but no, no storm unfortunately

edit - No heating on yet this year - it's usually around Samhain that the heating goes on in my abode
 
I only have the heating on for 30 minutes in the morning, just to take the chill off the bathroom, as I get up at 5:30 when it is quite a bit colder, and my body temperature doesn't seem to have got going at that time either, when it seems to think it should still be sleeping in a warm bed, rather than having to stand naked under the shower.
 
Put the Belgian parka on today (hood zipped up inside and flag removed; nobody wants to be in the pretend Belgian army) and it was extremely warm. Light jacket weather really.

Unfortunately, that brought out the junky who's been 'waiting for people' (gouching) on a bench that's just outside my flat. Within the yard, not public.

I've tried not to be a dick and there's no hope of moving him once he's fucked anyhow. But there was a woman with him today and once two show up, before long it's three, and so on. So I just said to the woman (who wasn't gouching out) that it isn't a public bench. Anyway, before I was back from the shops she'd moved him away.

Didn't want to play the big man because I don't want my windows bricked. But being sound eventually paid off.

I really did want his dealer's number though. Whatever he was on, it was fucking good.
