Good news is that I had energy yesterday to change my fucked up brake pads in rear to the front and front pads to the rear, so I can brake just fine while tearing up the rear knobbie too fast and using front brake as noise signal. I can barely lock up the front now, the pads have definitely got oil contamination somehow.

I have barely money for shit anything at all the rest of the year, so I need to try maintain upright position without studded tire, which is familiar to me, and often ends up to fall.

Hire a car of similar model/make for a day, change everything over that you can get away with, brakes, tyres, battery, wipers, filters etc. Hey presto, cheap service.
 
21-December and that Humble-Bee still coming back.

Is this a case of weather change ?
Any science known on Nectar addiction among Humble-Bee s ?
He/ she is risking his/ her life, but getting fatter and fatter.

And its afaik the only one doing it. 💪

Even at fifty, you might hate me, i d love to bike through a nice layer of:
snow, ice and snot. Gives a kick, no grown does that, oh yeah me.

Barely ever snows here anymore, ice-yards lay unused,
for over ten years [naturale ice].
With a exception one day every 2 years, but i hate cold.
General. Except the snow.

But besides that n-icey picture, that brings back memory of 15 years ago.

You use your front brake as 'bell' signal to other road users, correct inventive !

My God, this in Insane, I know that feeling of Freezing Air hitting the Lungs it feels like you just been punched deep in your chest but that was only at -20*C with Windchill which is nothing to what this Woman deals with.
 


Coincidentally, I was watching a very similar video yesterday, or the day before. Might be 'the algorithm' chucking them out into everyones feed at the moment, for some reason.

But the fucking state, ugliness, and impracticality of those huge "central heating" pipes running externally like that in those temperatures!

They must be so uneconimical. God help anyone in the apartments furthest away from the source if any of those spring a major leak. Although it seems that the ice would stop any leaks P.D.Q. !?

The woman said that the pipes are not placed underground, as most other countries would, so as to avoid melting the perma-frost. It never thaws at any point of the year, and I dont get why anyone would chose to live in such an incredibly hostile environment.

She didn't go into why melting the perma-frost is avoided. I guess it's to do with the foundations and structures that are built on top of it, or partially into it.

I was just thinking how you are doing over the last 24 hours & saw this.

I always had the idea you drove with studded tires or maybe chained up if you are poor. All the best WRC drivers are Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian for a good reason ;)

You ever heard of ryynimakkara or eaten it? What did you think of it?

I only did one Winter way up North in Europe but after a week I became used to it, I wasn't that fussed by it & I promise you going out on a Sledge on several inch of compacted Ice & Snow which is frozen to a solid block is damn good fun, those sledges you can control with handlebars are amazing down a Nordic Hill.

Also the sky becomes so dark at night you can see every Star & Galaxy possible with the naked eye, Hubble telescope is fit for Mr Gupta's £1 Discount Store ;)

Give me a Nordic Winter in January over an American East Coast Summer in July any day.

ryynimakkara is fine but it absolutely requires beer to go along.

I had on-one inbred 26" I got studded tire for cheap but I sold it for getting more booze. Then I had CX bike (Bombtrack Arise) that I got studded tire for cheap, but it was a bit too long frame so I sold that too.

That is one hell of a bike, I bet it would cut through the City Traffic so well.

The last bike I had was one of those City Bikes, it only had 7 gears but the brakes on the front & back were both Disks & stopped you in a second, it used to cut through traffic etc like a Razor but trying to take it off-road or along the Canal after bad rain was a Pure Suicide Mission.
 
Weather is disgusting and I had to deal with SIX cunts in the traffic today. Six cunts over one hour of commute in shit weather in range of 10 kms. I middle fingered every one of them, excluding the one I called idiot and twat. :ar69:

I am drinking beer and booze today.

There is a rumour about a bit weird population.
That choose to live beneath the Sea. Keep it out with a big Dyke.
Criss-crossed by dyked, but by nature rather overflowing river s.

And at certain points the top layer of soil, dug off till 5/ 6 meter deep.
As it was combustible.

So the rivers rise at those point, 6 meters above the surrounding land.
Creepy too. Sea wise half the land is sinking natural geo-dynamics.
Lucky the sea now rises too.

How long, as i live there till 2/3 is gone ?
