Myself and friends feel the same way, yet i keep watching it. I think im holding out for some kind of radical progression that never comes.. instead it just rehashes the same inter-personal crap over and over.

It just feels like they could of done SO MUCH with this concept; and they've wasted it on exploring one dimensional character drama's. Fuck off with that shit already. I can't connect to a single one of them.. they all seem like parody's of themselves with the personality of a chair.

Oh well.. lol

the character drama was the best part. they just don't know how to do it with the creators on board these last couple of seasons. to me the shittiness is how plot driven and formulaic it is now.
 
dude basically nothing has happened on this show for atleast the past two seasons. for christ sake, we just spent an entire half season on NOTHING. the ONLY things going on was the guy who had a "cure" and trying to get beth back....

Agreed, I was switching to web browser and leaving it in the background at some points because it was too boring to watch.
 
Yep, this show has seriously gone to shit.
The latest episode was an all-time low point.
Whatever drama exists is forced, lazily, via character inconsistencies and plot contrivances.
The conversation between Rick and a lip-trembling Michonne about going to Washington is a perfect example.

I would stop watching, but my girlfriend isn't ready so that gives me a good excuse to continue while blaming her.
 
Gone to shit indeed. A dull sloppy mess of a show, utter bollocks. Most of the episodes feel like fillers or something
 
Ok this is an old thread but the following needs to be stated, i wish i could make it a thread (ohh maybe i will! good idea), But i need something drastic to happen ASAP! these people need to figure out how to end this shit, shits getting boring! its like Lord of the Rings, a series that could have been 2 movies tops is stretched into three, and hereeee we go with walking dead!

they need to introduce Negan already. He was quite entertaining in the comic book.
 
Yeah it was decent. Besides a few things like giving up all your weapons and agreeing to be filmed that is. Alexandria just reminds me of another terminus tbh.
 
The show has obviously slowed down a lot the past couple seasons. Boring filler episodes headed towards nothing but a cliff hanger solid enough to keep you watching the show again next week. I was entertained this last episode though and really like where the show seems to be headed. The way Carol portrayed herself during her audition was shocking yet at the same time not so. I almost see Rick and the rest of the group as the evolving villains now. Survival at all costs. No matter what the outcome is they are taking Alexandria. They may have made a mistake recruiting Rick and his group. I think they have been out there far too long and been through way too much to go back to a normal way of living. Not to mention the fact that Alexandria has somewhat of a creepy feel to it. Who knows what will happen next any theories?

I do feel maybe Rick and his group will try to take it over possibly, their group has become ruthless and they'll kill anyone who goes against them.

So as slow as it is, I still wanna know what happens haha.

And Who else reckons rick and Michonne will get it on? I would if I was him, bet she is wild in the sack lol
