Television The Walking Dead

since everyone is infected wouldn't the guy rick bit his throat out turn to a zombie

I don't think so, if they're all infected then the other guy would be a carrier as well. I think it lies dormant until you die, but that would seem to contradict the "if you get bit you turn" part of it... then again, I don't exactly think this show is going for scientific accuracy.

So now this season is done? It wasn't done this past Sunday was it? After two Sundays ago for some reason I thought it had another episode.

edit: you know I got the count confused with Being Human. Nm.

i'm stoked for the 4th of july marathon and the new talking dead episode of july 6th where they are gonna be talking about season 5

It is such a good show. I know nothing of the comic so I was wondering if people like watching these shows better without any ideas on how the story will go. Another example is game of thrones. I love that show but never read the books. So would it be as good knowing the major plot directions before seeing? ?

Does a mini series not count as a TV drama? They do television differently over in the UK. They want to make something really good and then leave it alone, here they want to get to 100 episodes and get mad bank from syndication.
Agreed.

They could do soooo much more with WD. I finally just gave the fuck up. Cheers to all you who still enjoy it though, there's certainly worse 'flap' on TV lately...

Still waiting for Game of Thrones, when John gets stabbed by his brothers in black! :D and Hodor finally starts to speak! :F

A few episodes ago when the van fell off the bridge nose first and magically landed on its wheels... such sloppy directing. what a joke

The shows been a joke since sometime during season 2, really. Sure there have been some good episodes since then, but they are very few and far between. I feel like an idiot for having kept up with it all this time.

lol, I didn't even know the Walking Dead was back on already.

They lost me halfway through last season, all hunkered down in some dark ass house with an unknown family. That shit was weak.

I might try to pick up where I left off, though.... It's always nice when you can kill an entire season in a couple days, and don't have to wait a week after a shitty episode to rekindle any interest.

See, and here I was feeling like an idiot for not keeping up with it.

very much agreed. i liked the whole second season, but only because they rode the wave of story telling creativity frank darabont brought with him. the show started off truley great. now it's just stupid fun. i still watch it, but it's on par (or slightly below) true blood, which i watched all of.

i probably won't even bother with the upcoming spinoff series. maybe ... eh... i'm not too fussed.

prior to the first season, i was completely bored with zombie shit. i couldn't believe anything could get me interested in zombies again, but that season really blew me away.
