really not liking how the show splintered off so much.. the cliffhangers from the last week and a full episode dedicated to an unrelated storyline means we have to wait 2-3 weeks to see what happens with certain characters. It's hard to get into the small nuances of the episodes if you can't remember the foreshadowing.

I agree. I liked it a lot better when they only partially focused on certain characters more in an episode, but still made a point to show the general storyline with everybody. Now, I'm forgetting certain characters even exist. I feel like I haven't seen rick in a month. I'm not digging the fractured story telling either, even though they are clearly building up to the characters all colliding again, probably in that Terminus place they keep talking about. It's just taking forever.
 
i still wish murl was still alive he was maybe not the best character but i could relate to him the most
 
At least they finally started showing more than one story arc this week.. ha. Even though we only saw rick for like 5 seconds. It seems like every one is going to meet up again in Terminus, where everything will come to a head. I have a feeling that place is going to be something fucked up.
 
Hopefully its some religious cult that thinks the zombie outbreak was gods wrath and it is their mission to termin(us)ate all the stragglers.
 
Gonna watch the new episode soon... i bet it'll be pretty shite but i'll watch it anyway

Yeah. Still, could pretty much tell where that episode was going from the beginning. Next episode I'm sure we'll find out what happened to Beth, and I'm guessing Daryl's group makes it to Terminus right after Rick.



Not sure what's gonna happen with Terminus though, there's quite a few ways they could get that to play out but honestly it seems the writers usually pick the easiest option to tie into the story rather than "twists and turns" that keep you guessing. I'm guessing Daryl's group tries to "claim" it or something of that nature and Daryl sticks with them either because he doesn't know his friends are on the other side, or because he's trying to fight them from within.. Only problem with that is I have no fucking clue what happened to Beth, so that implies there's another heavily equipped group out there that will enter the melee somehow..


one thing is for certain, with all those signs, all of the major players are going to end up in Terminus one way or the other...
 
This episode felt like it should have been the second to last episode of the season. As a season finale, it left a lot to be desired.

Rick - "They're gonna feel real stupid when they find out."

Harley - "Find out what?"

After an hour long pause...

Rick - "That they're messin' with the wrong people."

Really? That's the line that's supposed to make us anticipate the next season? Bring on Negan already. He could only make the show better. That is, unless they cast Jesse Eisenberg to play Negan.
 
Wasn't bad, those flash back things were kind of weird, but I liked the 2nd half of it, especially when they got to terminus. Yeah it may have been a bit cheesy right at the end, but still I look forward to more.
 
I knew something was fucked up and shady about that place.

Can't wait for next season and see Rick just go on a rampage, now that he's embracing his inner bad ass. That throat rip move he pulled was epic.
 
haha yeah it was. it sux we have to wait till sept tho. that's pretty shit. the talking dead was pretty cool, rick was being a funny pRICK.
 
I don't think its a lock that Terminus is a bad place. The clues were far too obvious. I know there are cannibals in the comics but this whole thing could just be a red herring. Personally I think if it turns out to be a legit sanctuary with people who have resources next season would turn out better. Way more possibilities. Do we really need another season dominated by another crazy Governor type character? I know thats coming but they could hold off a little while.
