I stumbled upon this video following a few cops in the Vancouver downtown east area and any drug user should find it quite interesting. This is a completely different world of drug use, where cops see someone shooting up they simply tell them to throw the H on the ground then move on with their day. This area really follows the module of harm reduction as opposed to enforcement (like you'd see on shows such as Cops).

They also have supervised injection sites in that area. You go in, sit in a booth, and shoot up across from a medical professional trained in treating overdose victims.

Through A Blue Lens is an excellent documentary. I picked up off this random homeless dude in the eastside one time when I was really fiending, he was really nice and hooked me up. It's a crazy place, but as long as you don't stand out it's pretty safe imo
