man, when wakefield is on, it's something to watch. when he's not...

where the fuck are the red sox - they haven't appeared the last two games?

if i was a sox fan i dont know what i'd do with myself during a wakefield outing... it sure as hell would not involve calmly watching a ball game. even when he does well he's nerve-racking to watch. it hasnt been a happy home for the last few evenings.

lol - i know what you mean.

when i lived in boston, i lived across the street from fenway park and i went to a lot of home games. i've seen wakefield's knuckleball dance around the zone on a balmy boston night and it's just crazy to behold. he much be getting close to retiring and, when he does, he can look back on years of solid service to the boston faithful.

As a lifelong PA native, there is nothing I want more than either for the Phillies to get swept, or blow a 10 run lead in game 7. Next year is going to be a good year to be a Pirates fan.

Unfortunately, this is probably the most boring World Series match up ever. Zzzzzzzzz.

I think this is a best case scenerio, thank god it's not like Bo- Sox vs Cardinals. New faces in any sports championship games are always welcome.

I'm not sure about that. Did anyone watch the Spurs win 3 championships? But we all know who won last year...

Anyway I haven't lost the faith in the Sox yet ... but I sure don't have my hopes up either.

i can't even imagine how ridiculous joe buck would have been blabbering about manny ramirez playing at fenway in the world series.

the 'my team lost and isn't there so the world series will be boring' wails are pretty funny, too.

It really has nothing to do with that.

Dodgers / Sox would have been far more interesting than Phillies / Rays. Booooooring. Nobody gives a shit about the Rays. I'd say the same thing about the Marlins, Dbacks, et cetera, et cetera.

My criteria for a great WS is nothing like that. The fact Rays are in this position, considering their past creates a little magic....but regardless of who's in it, I'll probably end up watching only a few innings throughout the whole series:)

there was a point. the crowd started cheering " lets go, ANGELS!!!"

LOL

if you get it, you get it. lol

I got fucking shitfaced by the 5th. it was very disappointing. but still good to be at the last dodger game of the season! and those dodger dogs <3 i will miss them.

i personally don't give a fuck about the rays but i do want them to fuck the phillies in the as, straight veins, no lube.

see you guys next season! now its time to start watching the lakers fuck up all over again =/

it always sucks when a team are solid, play well in the early rounds, have great hitting and then just don't show up.

props to tampa for their hitting, for sure.

red sox have been there plenty of times this last decade. BOOOORING.

the dodgers are so uninteresting that their fans don't sell out LCS games.
