The ultimate gamer thread, aka 'Geek my Forum'

I've kind of kicked my video game addiction. I tend to just read now, I haven't even come close to finishing half the games I've got, and I have no desire to pick them up. Kind of depressing actually. It wasn't even a conscious decision I just can't be screwed playing them anymore. I'm kind of curious how the latest Zelda turns out but, meh, whaddya gunna do.

I'm still staying the hell away from WoW though.
 
I seen a guy ruin his relationship by being addicted to Call of Duty

His girlfriend actually packed up her shit and walked out of the apartment whilst he still had his headphones on planning an ambush with his "friends"

How about a little NES or SNES? Oooh, I want to play Waveracer on n64. That game is so fun.

I like that Zero Punctuation guy as well, so funny.

On another note, I challenge anyone, and when i say everyone i mean any person here to any track on Mario Kart 64. Daily playing for over 3 months between me and 3 mates makes me dominate.
 
I imagine the ones in Britain do, anyway.

my gf got me Unchartered: Drakes Treasure for the ps3 for xmas
it's like Tomb Raider, except it's actually enjoyable
 
^^^What's not to like abour tomb raider. You get to rump around and shoot things and swan dive off buildings and break the annoying twat's neck.

I'm trying to summon up the willpower to finish two worlds... It's like oblivion, but gay.

Ever since Mr Dogg pimped my x box I realised I have all the SNES, Sega, Nin 64 etc... hidden on the hard drive.


So should I pick you up around 7ish? %)
 
Do I install Bioshock now and risk getting addicted and not sleeping before work or do I wait until the weekend?

The questions a gamer faces...
 
I don't know anything at all about Pokemon besides that a lot of people seem to be overly obsessed by a Japanese children's cartoon...
 
Hahaha its very very addictive. But a bit girly. I like girly pissweak games though - not really into big shoot-em-ups and aliens and monsters.
