Fairies whisper from inside my pupils
Asking quietly to slide my eyelids closed
Bringing stories they’ve collected from their travels
And transport me to the realm where darkness unravels
They visit from a world of weightlessness
A palace where size and shape does not matter
They whisper without words in the language of timelessness
And Take my life to make my soul feel less lifeless
Kissing the inside of my thoughts and blessing them with luck
For the journeys that destiny’s fate awaits to be created
They lull me out of my fake sense of security
And ever so gently into accepting my fears of true love and beauty.
As paralysis slowly wraps its tendrils around my soul
my body slips out of its grasp and sinks down the hole
into the imagination that comes from deep below
Into a world a spiritual sleep bestows.
