Just be thankful you haven't had to figure out how to get needles on an airplane when you don't have a prescription and you're in a state that requires a prescription to purchase/possess needles.

Eh... I never had a problem flying with needles. I have a large "expedition" first aid kit. I always packed the needles in there- and dumped that into my checked baggage. Hell, I flew into a foreign country with rigs in my luggage. I also had an half ounce of dope with me, but I digress...

It's really not that big of a deal to cook up a shot in a bathroom stall. I would carry a small bottle of water, a spoon, cigarette (filter) and lighter with me. I could cook up a shot, fix, and be out of there in less time than most people take to shit.

Heroin in prison...

Nobody said that there was no heroin in the prisons I have been in. What I was saying was that there was only garbage that I would not put in my body if you paid me. Almost all heroin in american prisons is so highly adulterated /diluted with questionable substances that you are risking your life each and every time you do some. I remember my visit to Rikers in 97. The first day in my dorm [4 upper] a group of Puerto Ricans were getting off in the bath room and of course everyone and their brother uses the same rig [another life decision]. Immediately, the youngest keeled over and died. There was no shake down as one would expect, just a bunch of tough words from the regualr 2nd shift co who said that if we wanted him to ignore our shooting up in the bathrooms, we were going to have to stop shanking eachother and causing him grief from the white shirts.

In Rikers, ever since I have strated going there anyway [first time was 1979 in C76 last time was 2002 in C95], it is almost always adulterated with Dalmane, the sleep aid. Talk about garbage...the last time I was in in 2002 it was 30 dollars [the equivalent of course since Rikers does not allow actual money, although it is smuggled in] a very impure bag weighing about 30 mgs.

In NJ it is also garbage. Outside of the state system it is almost non-existent. In the state system, at least in Annandale where I did my 3 years, it was 40 bucks a bag [again, the equivalent]. The bags are even worse than NY.

Now in Israel it was a different story. I was able to consistently get very pure Lebanese heroin for 15 US a gram! You can even get syringes cherap and clean. That was in the 80s though and I really have no idea if it has changed though.
 
damn, dude........you've done a lot of time in prison. all over the place too. good info., though, i guess.

I literally have thousands. I hope to let alot out when I start posting from Asia in a couple of weeks. You would not believe that life I have lived [or suffered depending on the perspective].

rahamim you are absolutly right israeli jails have lots of H in them and the quality is almost the same as outside- very pure brown H.
 
As old-school OD regulars go, Rachamim18 does indeed have some great stories (I too would like to hear some of that "drug porn" ;)).
He also has very good and reliable info. To all of you Greenlighters/newbies: Rachamim knows what he's talking about...

Aunty: I am heading to Cambodia but will hit Laos as well after a while. To begin I'll be in PP for a long while...looking for an apartment, etc.

Sound: For sure. I imagine I will be posting here as well as in the journal forum. I have just about tied all those loose ends up, down to 40 mgs. and will be totally detoxed by next Friday [if I even bother after reaching 20 on Sunday]. Finally got all my financial affairs in correct order as well. It sucks going to a place with no ATMs, etc and no Western banks. I have found two corresponding banks though [and the first ATM has just begumn limited service in PP as well]. I hope to be there by the middle of September although I would have liked to have left already.
