The Tramadol Combo Thread

Love it or hate it, tramadol's a pretty funky opiod with a great deal of potential for some lucky few.

Because of its finicky nature however, many find tramadol most effective in combination with other substances.


So, keeping in mind tramadol's lowered seizure threshold, SSRI & SNRI behaviour, and of course the consequent 'high', suggest/list your favourite tramadol combinations.






My initial thoughts are benzos (in particular diazepam) & weed (not a huge fan though).

Another thing to keep in mind would be potentiation?


There isn't much great info on bluelight for potentiating tramadols.

first time i got high on downers, was tramadol + xanax combo. i fell in love with it!!! had too good time... heh
btw, i like smoking weed with just everything but found smoking weed on tram was a bit unpleasant feel.

^ I agree, tram and Xanax is a great combo (I'd imagine it'd go good with most benzos as well). A little bit of alcohol can be good in addition to those too. I've smoked weed on tram and Xanax but didn't really find it made too much of a difference either way.

my combo is like this:- im on it right now!!! and im still hyper!!!feels good

1. take dexchlorpheniramine maleate aka polaramine 1/2 hour before trams - 6mgs
2. take hydroxizine (opt)
3. 400mg trams
4. panadeine - 5mg cod/ 500 apap - 2 tablets
5. Ritalin IR 10mg every 2-3 hours
6. coffee and lots of it!!!
7. weed - the whole time
8. alcohol ...usually five hours later
9. 200mg trams after 6 hours

this combo keeps me going from 10am morn to midnight..sometimes longer...its fuckin excellent!! i get quite creative on it...ill be writing songs for hours on end...writing poetry and stuff....also its nice to read on it.....and there is no hangovers
but at around the 7 hour mark there is a tendency for me to become fucking angry and lose my temper
over every small thing..ill get fuckin upset
easily...ill be shoutin at the tv and stuff and my patience will be at empty.....but if i try to conciously forget about it.. it doesnt happen as much.....

another way to potentiate tramadol is by taking tegretol (carbamazepine) because you want to increase the metabolization rate cuz the metabolites are the goodies

PS: this is not a dosage guide....ymmv.....i know my limits

Yes, & carbamazepine is an anti-convulsant (plus), and experimental anti-psychotic. Careful tho. Liver function MUST be monitored in otherwise naive Tegretol users, prior to, and 1st several weeks of usage. Let that be a warning. Don't just take tegretol.

well when I tried to use tramadol to kick but said fuck it and used my bupe I felt like total shit for like an hour. cold sweats shakes and anxiety. so if those are what the w/ds from tramadol is like then hes you will get them

i heard crushing and parachuting the pills brings quicker oncet + lower dose was needed (that in case of stopping h w\d's)
also oral is the way to go cause tramadol is broken to 200% more potent metabolite by the liver... i hope i helped

Yeah. Since tramadol is partially a pro-drug, meaning that it has active metabolites, taking alcohol induces the liver enzyme CYP2D6. So, theoretically alcohol can potentiate tramadol, allowing more of it to be metabolized into the most active metabolite O-desmethyl-tramadol. From personal experience I'd say it works well. Just take a few drinks, and your normal dose of tramadol. As always, be careful when mixing CNS depressants. Don't overdo it.

Well hell shit fire! I have about a hundred and some Tramadols 50mg, but I only used them for mild pain when I was not getting high. I also have over a hundred Xanax (no time release 0.5). I also have about a hundred Darvon (Propoxyphene HCL 65mg). All of these and some other shit I have but hardly ever take them. 1st of all the Xanax makes me sleepy and I don't concider that a high. What I do get off on is #2 Dilaudids. I only shoot one at a time and that is good enough for me.

I never thought the drugs I have like Tramadol and Darvon were strong enough to concider taking to get high.

My questin is this: Should I take some Tramadol or Darvon with my Dilaudid to extend the high and how much? Or is it just too weak to be noticed with the #2 Dilaudid shot?

Yes, I am aware of the fact that tramadol is WAY less controled than any other narcotic....codeine is more controlled. It is everywhere and on every pharmacy along with Celebrex......very popular.


DO YOU REALLY NEED PRESCRIPTION FOR TRAMDOL? I live in Canada by the way.
