The storm in my mind,
Waves, emotions,
Crashing down against the shoreline,
Damaging my precious little skull,
Until I bleed,
I leave trails on my arms,
The blood makes the world fall silent,
The sun comes out,
the wind turns into a gentle breeze,
The world is warm, silent and at peace,
And I feel tranquility,
And I have perfect clarity,
I feel real,
But this is only for one fleeting, precious moment,
Soon the calm eye of the storm passes,
And the waves crash down again,
Thw world is cold, at war,
And as I look down at the trails on my arm,
The blood dries,
And I realise i've just started the cycle again.......

great piece of writing here. when i read it, i feel like i can smell the storm and hear the waves crashing and at the same time feel that the storm isn't really there, its on the inside. its very powerful writing.
