I've been abusing Adderall on a regular basis for a year and a half. For the first 7-8 months I was able to do 3 binges a week while taking 70-80 mg and that would give me a solid 8-10 hours of euphoria. It is also worth noting that I've been taking magnesium since the beginning to help with tolerence.

Now I've been taking nearly 800 mg/week spread out over 4-5 binges for the past 4 months or so and that would did me in. I just took 50 mg IR a couple hours ago with no notable euphoria. Just some minor axillary sweating and tachycardia. I've desperately been trying to use Adderall in therapeutic doses with no avail so maybe this isn't necessarily a negative result. Under no circumstances would I ever be willing to snort/shoot or progress to meth.

For you other Adderall users, how long did it take you to hit a wall?

The wall you've hit will probably go away if you just give adderall a decent break to allow your tolerance to settle. I'm surprised you managed to carry on enjoying such heavy abuse for as long as 4 months tbh. Amphetamine is more neurotoxic than some other stims (such as methylphenidate) which obviously takes its toll.

I would prefer to never do get high off of Adderall to be honest, but keeping to that has proven difficult. I have ADHD and require it to get stuff done but can't control my urges to binge after doing it so often for so long.

I'm thinking of switching to Ritalin. Even aftet taking quite a bit of my roomates methylphenidate(he doesn't use it) when I was still getting decent euphoria from Adderall it did very little in the way of euphoria. I'm sure at this point any drug that soley inhibits dopamine reuptake without synthesizing more would have essentialy zero recreational benefit for me.

wow adderal worked for you for that long??with me, if i used it twice a week for a few months it began to lose its magic..then it would just make me irritable, anxious as hell..

Yeah, but I was having to take pretty high doses. Around 40-50mg IR just to feel much of anything.

I'd seriously advise you to cut back, or better yet stop completely - neurotoxicity is nothing to look forward to.
