Yeah, but heroin and MDMA are different drugs. MDMA depletes serotonin. After a certain point his serotonin levels had to have been completely burnt out and depleted.

I think everyone is aware of what tolerance is. No need to explain it. 8)

i know heroin and mdma are different drug..lol not even close....but usually ppl who think the magic is gone are..ppl who have only take 1 hit..im shur there serotonin is not all burnt out by then. if they took more hits like 2..then im shur they wouldnt be complaining about the magic being gone...but yeah once u start to take more...then its gone..

I'd think that of somebody taking heroic doses of oxy too (What were Rush's numbers? Like 12,000 in 6 months?). But you'd be amazed how people get by (Myself included, although I'm nowhere NEAR either one of those amounts).
 
how on earth did he eat and sleep if he was popping 25 a day for four years...something is amiss here--E is a very difficult drug to take on an intensively regular long term basis.
 
yah ive done a few hundred, prolly closer to 1000 than 500, but damn 40,000?!? Ive met people who have done like 3-4k pills in their life easy, and some of em are pretty whacky.

i figure ud get bored as hell of E after 1/10 of that much. it doesnt really entice me much anymore. in fact unless the time and place were absolutely perfect, i prolly wouldnt even pay money for E anymore. everyones different i guess.

heh besides, this article is 40k pills over 9 years. a one month meth binge can do the same thing!
 
They noted he had severe memory problems - yet seem trusting of his claim of taking 40 thousand pills. How the fuck could you remeber how many you were taking? I bet this guy is so skewed. I can't see how you would survive that much MDMA. But if he did, he should be the poster boy for ecstacy survivability.

or the full 25 to help you wind after work (I don't see how one could unwind on E).

I suspect his biochemistry had adapted to the toxin and he was excreting most if it. Now there's some piss to drink!

I don't understand how they lost track of this guy. All they have to do is watch out for the guy with his eyeballs rotating like slot machine reels.

I can see how you could end up like that. If you didn't know what they actually did to you brain chemistry with heavy use you'd probably think they were just getting worse in quality, and if you didnt think they could be harmful I can see how you'd want to use everyday, especially after several years of heavy weekend use which would probably leave you pretty depressed and not knowing why. Answer? Take 'em daily. Not to get high, because at this point they probably don't do much, but just to keep that terrible depression at bay.. and you need to take more'n'more'n'more...

And since it was an average of 25 a day over 4 years, wouldn't that mean that he was taking around 100 a day in the final year? I'm no good with maths lol.
