A friend I know who has visited this site before recommended it. It's been bookmarked for a long time but it has only been now that my interest has been genuinely peaked.
I'm a student of holistic medicine, or more specifically east asian medicine (acupuncture, herbalism, tuina, etc.). I'm also concurrently learning about and practicing plant spirit medicine through western plants here on the west coast of Canada. I'm well travelled, experienced in culture and spirituality, and I've dedicated my life to the healing service of others.
I've come to Blue Light because it seems like a good site for discussing the deeper dynamics of entheogens, instead of just relegating it to "drug" conversation. Where some people see only a chemical interaction, I see a Being at work as well. My best work is in combining the spirit and guardianship of plants with the journeys of humans. This seems like a place where I just might be able to express that without people's eyes glazing over. Also, I bring with me whatever knowledge I can share.
