horrible, horrible ending, if it truly was the ending. It seems like HBO cut out or somethin and the ending wasnt shown. I dunno, i just felt like the few minutes before the ending (the diner scene) were building to something. It doesnt seem right.

My friend is saying that he read somehwere there is going to be a Sopranos movie and thats why it ended the way it did.

Either that, or they're going to continue the series on HBO at some point in the future. That's the only reason why they would end it like that.

And the problem if they make a movie is that it might have an ending like this series did.

My folks and I were like, "Oh, no he di'nt!"

He wanted an ending that would people would talk about forever, and in that I think he wholly succeeded.

The more and more I think about the ending, it makes a sort of logical sense. Life goes on for these people, only we won't be around to see it. If the ending is ambiguous, so is life. Tony doesn't go out a hero, or with any redemption, he just is who he is, continuing to live his life(or possibly having died by the guy who went into the bathroom). David Chase, you fucked with what we expected again. People will be debating the ending for decades. Well done.

I wish we were allowed bigger avatars.

I think i got it

Remember last weeks episode, the flash back to Tony and Bobby on the boat? Tony (or Bobby, I cant remember) says "they say you dont hear it when its coming" about being killed.

Now think to the finale. As was said before, maybe all that happened in the end was what Tony seen before he died, and it going black was him dying. And everything went quiet and you dont hear the gunshot because "you never hear it when its coming"

thats my theory.

I imagine that will be the prevaling theory years from now. I'm actually coming more and more to the realization that this was a finale fitting this show, no matter how crazy the last shot was. It's the way David knew it was going to end, and damned if he didn't do it his way. Something to be admired.

It would have been believable if the view was Tony's and not facing tony.

When you think about it, if that truely is how it was meant to end, it is clever, and it makes it less dissapointing.

Yeah, that is a good theory.

Am I the only one hoping that there won't be a movie or any more episodes for that matter? Don't get me wrong, I loved the series, but I can't see it getting better or as good as it once was.

Edit: WTF? A billion people posting at once.
