Sorry I replied late Scrof... I would assume it's similar to taking pure Psilocybin orally, but supposedly IV it can get through to the brain unchanged and has effect unlike Psilocybin although there's no specific proof of that. It's unlikely that you were smoking it as I'm guessing you figured out. I like it because it's great for microdosing or having a more controlled experienced tripping like LSD bring a singular compound yet less stimulating and more subtle I believe due to the lack of dopamine activity that ergoloids can have..

I highly recommend it vs other rc tryptamine compounds as it's as close to natural as one can get while the other compounds while only slightly altered are extremely different. Some feel like they fall into the uncomfortable terratory way to easily.
 
I'm one of the apparent minority that finds 4acodmt quite different from mushrooms or extracted psilocybin, mainly in that it is MORE stimulating than LSD. Specifically, even at threshold doses I absolutely always get a pins-and-needles feeling on my face and head reminiscent of 2C-E (or a strong stim/mdma comeup) which I find unpleasant and distracting, ruining the trip (although I assume many people could find it to be pleasant.)
 
I too am very fond of LSD, Cap'n; perhaps one of my favorite drugs, though it does get boring after eight hours, mostly lacks the "I'm so deep and spiritual connecting to god even though I'm really just on drugs" bit of the tryptamines.

Ms. Duggles, you should stop reading hatred in so many posts "Who's Pissed dammit". This is what politics does to people. You should slow down and sample some of the latest wares here, with include 4-fluoro-phenibut, aka 4-fluoro-baclafen. Apparently, inducing radically different subjective experiences can be as simple as making your para-positioned halogen a bit smaller, something we all should keep in mind.

Anyways I just find it to lack the heaviness of mushrooms that weigh one down so it feels light like LSD, but I wouldn't say it's simulating like lsd where I feel energy pulsating, but rather I feel energy stand still and be easily swayed allowing me to learn how to feel to let go and move with flow.

I have also had ALD-52 and 1P-LSD although it might've been under dosed me. ALD felt like melting into the surface while 1P after my experience with 4-aco-dpt I would explain has a very strong physical element to it and was more like vaporizing into a gasous light vs the liquid surface. I'm describing more how the visual style differed, which is hard as they are generally mild for me.

I really like the 4-aco-dpt, but I had about 180 mg and it's only really active IV for a very short effect although likely due to needing a dose of 100+ mg 4-ho-dpt. I want to experiment more testing harmalas to activate it, but I want to be able to use extracted harmalas not the 4:1 Forest rx caapi powder that only works eaten straight.
 
See, but here's the thing. If I gave 3D glasses to kids to use at some 3D movies, but changed the color and name every time, told them they need the magic of the glasses to see the movie, they'll decide that the glasses each have different powers, maybe even start describing them, offer up some backstory to the glasses, and the best movies to watch with which set, as they move into the college years. Best music, best fuck position, best granola, best benzo of course, for the terrible comedowns one insists happens with the purple glasses, but no one else knows what he's talking about.

Now, why would you want or need an MAOI for tryptamines with polar substitutions? By mouth, no MAOI, that 4OH manages to keep psilocybin grinding at your temples with phalic Teoninacatl treppanist drills. I mean, six-10 hours is plenty for that shit.
