Yes it's slightly different lol, just the occasional spelling error bits, no big deal I'm just a stickler.

Like a colleague of mine tried to argue with me a few days ago:

"Blue is spelled BLE in American English!"
What. I'm sure that's not true.
"Yeah! It's true! They spell colors without the U! Want to bet a box of beer on that?"

And that's how I won a box of beer. Yes, dear colleague, they spell COLOUR without a U, not all colors without a U.

In all seriousness, isn't there some 'life's hard knocks' type scholarship in the US for people who've fallen down but are now trying to turn things around yada yada? People seem to love those kinda recovery and redemption type stories and you often find funds for just that purpose if you look hard enough.
 
I could get student loans, but that gets expensive. Those sorts of scholarships usually go to those in poverty, which I'm not.

Our education system here is rather terrible.

I honestly think you'd need to research deeply before drawing that conclusion. I had colleagues who spent months scouring different unis and courses and funding streams and scholarship directories just so they could find the one that they could apply to to save some money.
 
I do plan on looking into it in the future, but I'm not quite ready for that yet. I have the qualifications, just have to get my mind set straight, and moving forward again.

And bits spelt is the commonwealth spelling, we yanks use language differently.
