The Snowboarding Thread v. No skiers allowed

Yea we got 3-5 yesterday and expecting another 6 or so this weekend, as well as a cold week which is good for snowmaking. China Peak still isnt open but probably will be by sunday at the latest.

10-12 inches this morning! Im going to be heading up a couple times this week!

for me it always takes about two weeks, not all full days and they need not be all consecutive, but around that. and then if the snow is right and I'm on that day.. I don't know its kinda like I get to the top of something.. take a little look around and drop in.. I think it comes down to when im in shape enough, have the confidence that season, to just stop thinking my way through any part of anything.. its being ready and able to slide over the line.. get to that place were we are able to loose time and ourselves.. that higher level.. God do I love sliding down mountains<3

Kwood got 24-36" Friday night. First day of the season was a powder day. Felt so good. Day 2 today...

Very nice, ill be following suit as soon as my work schedule allows.

Maybe this will be a good year after all.

My new board feels like im riding the chariot of the gods.

The snow was really good yesterday, even though there were only a few runs open, i was bombing down the hill hardcore. Their terrain is pretty limited at the moment, but I did a couple jumps.

My roomate overshot a rail, landed on his shoulder and broke his collarbone on the first day of the season, he has a season pass too, huge bummer :(.

Yes these things happen. im out this week w a bad back. but its been realll good here. real deep.

Some times if you read through the fine print of a season pass there is a way people can get money back for injury reasons that prevent use of the pass.

Nooooooobody knows the trouble i've seen

Noooobody knows my sorrow :(

Cali is definitely the worst right now

Im headed to Colorado on Wednesday, my buddy says its been about an average year. About 4 feet of packed powder and 70% chance of snow the day after I get there. I'll be ther for 12 days this time, and I have a go pro for the trip.

Should be epic.
