Opioids The Smell and color of Fentanyl

Hello. I was wondering if anyone would know why some Fentanyl before it's smoked has the strong (I think is amazing) smell to it?? Lime you open the bag and smell it. I noticed that not all Fetty has a smell. I think that generally when it smells,it's good. And also, I have seen some Fentanyl after the 1st hit or 2 when you melt it, it sometimes turns a reddish pinkish color. I've been told that also is a good sign of bomb stuff.. but what makes it turn color? what's kind of ironically weird though, the last stuff I had, had the strong smell but didn't turn pink.. thank you all for your time, I greatly appreciate it

Yes. In my expwriemce with lots of different types of fentanyl is that it does indeed have a specofic smell. Something hard to describe... i always think of plastic or rubber or something..... but deffinitely distinct.

Fentanyl leaving reddish or brown residue is due to decomposing cuts. Most fentanyl is less than 1% actual fentanyl.

Totally Pure fentanyl leaves zero residue when vaporized.

to me it smells like a mix between skunk and burnt rubber. I fucking hated being addicted to street fetty. Having to dose every 4-6 hours, and everyday getting different shit.

One day it’s okay, the next day it doesn’t even take away WD, then the following day it blacks me out - it’s like Russian roulette. And I’ve lost too many friends now that I despise the shit. It’s not a good look, the nod is not a nod anymore it’s basically an OD.

I mean to each their own but it’s fucking nasty shit . And I did it for years. Very grateful that I don’t fuck with it anymore

Agreed. I hate fet. i got off street opioids when the common narcotic on the streets went from diamorphine to fentanyl. I wouldve staued on dope forever if not for that. SOOOO.... it was a good thing i guess for me personally. I think at this point everyone has lost someone to fentanyl... 100,000ish a year dead is insane.

Not sure where you are but in BC Canada all the Fent is all coloured different colours and 99.9% of the time it takes like candy. It looks and tastes like candy of various flavours. They do this obviously to make it more appealing to the smokers or if someone ate it I suppose. I’ve been using for 15 years and I’ve rarely had it taste bad when it’s inhaled or even just smelling the product. Never had it smell like rubber but it has taste pretty bad a few times from less known groups. Sometimes one would smoke more than they should just because it’s like a flavored vape. They know what they are doing.
