Phenethylamines The Small & Handy 2C-EF Thread

Snorting 2C-EF turned out to be quite surprising...

Finding myself at a loose end on a Saturday evening I decided to try insufflation. I weighed out 10 ± 1 mg, and prepared myself for the expected 'kick in the face' sensation. In fact it was relatively easy on the nose - notably chili pepper-ish, with a bit of a sting, but perfectly reasonable and a lot less unpleasant on the nasal passages than many compounds. A few sprays of saline and after a minute or two there was very little discomfort.

Within 15 minutes it was clear it was kicking in and by 30 minutes the whole show was on the road.

I found it a lot more potent via this ROA than when taken orally. It also showed itself to be a far more muscular and austere beast. I would describe the experience as a properly serious and deep psychedelic, which was a bit unexpected and, to be honest, not entirely what I was looking for (hedonistic fun was what I had in mind). However, for those seeking the more challenging and therapeutic aspects of psychedelics, this would seem to be the way to go.

Closed eye visuals were intense, bright and colourful.

The descent is not seemingly accelerated, compared to oral administration, and things were still going, if a lot more subdued, at the 7+ hour mark when I decided to swallow 50 mg of 2-FDCK.

I think next time I would keep it in the range of 6 to 8 mg.

In summary: When snorted, it's not wildly painful, it kicks in faster and is a lot more potent.

Thanks for your timely report! I was wondering if that might not be the case after noticing similarity between rectal and oral ROAs.

My girlfriend/T and I took 2C-EF yesterday (10.1mg and 10.3mg PO, respectively) and I wanted to share our thoughts, since there's not many reports out there.

I was taking 7.5mg of 7-OH-MG every couple hours—this is pretty much my normal, as I've been taking 60mg +/- 15mg/day for the past year. In the interest of thoroughness, I also take empagliflozin (10mg), ezetimibe (10mg), telmisartan (20mg), and dutasteride (0.5mg) daily for longevity. I skipped my 150mg buproprion, although I still had my caffeine (200mg). T takes a couple medications for her hypothyroid, along with ezetimibe.

The experience was predominately visual for both of us. We sat in front of the mirror for a couple hours watching our faces completely morph and transform. The paintings on my wall and the space in between them was our playground for a couple hours also, ebbing and flowing and disappearing while our outstretched arms would get wrapped up and mixed with it all. Contrast and depth were extraordinary. Rather than just the geometric motifs or the generic swaying and warping visual effects that I usually experience on psychedelics, these visuals were closer to what you might call visual hallucinations. They don't fully reveal themselves unless you focus on objects, which allows you to direct the trip to some extent.

It's a slow buildup and it also seems to come in waves, so that the most intense visual effects we noticed in the mirror were probably around 5 and a half hours in, which was an entire hour or so after I thought my peak was tailing off. It also seemed to remove an artistic block, as illustrations on the iPad seemed to draw and develop themselves with a surprising degree of allegorical depth. Sex during the peak was unbelievable. Taste was significantly enhanced. Mood was slightly positive and unserious, but mostly level-headed.

Bodyload was transparent the first hour for me, while T had a bit of nausea. After that we had strong bodily heaviness for a time, which then seemed to lessen throughout the experience. Overall it was fairly sedating and we spent most of the trip lounging around on the couch, in bed, and on the floor. I had some muscle tremors throughout and muscle tension the last couple hours, which made for some restlessness while trying to sleep. The last couple hours we felt pretty exhausted physically, but thankfully no worse for the wear this morning (no migraines even w/o acetaminophen).

Duration-wise, it was longer than we expected—around 11 hours was when the experience felt completely over. In the future I would take it a couple hours earlier, around noon or so. I think in the future I might take 1-2mg more, to try and explore the visual effects more. The headspace was light with no thought loops and mostly preserved cognition, so I wonder how easily that would change at higher doses.

Did try 2c-ef in very small doses lately. Wasnt expecting very much from it but all in all I Liked it. Was testing doses around 1,5mg and got a nice glow from it.
