Hope it's okay to create this thread... http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/388959-3-4-methylenedioxy-alpha-pyrrolidinopropiophenone/page3 seems to be locked, for whatever reason that is. Since there is some confusion about the name it seems, I've skipped putting MDPPP into the title. This might be one of the reasons for why there is so little information available about this compound, despite an excessive amount seeming to have been produced by the rc suppliers, resulting in very good availability.
I've just received some of this compound and due to my prior relatively extensive MDPV experiences and being a regular user of amphetamine, I dared to skip the weighing process and samples what I estimate to be 50-100mg orally on top of 30mg amphetamine phosphate that was ingested earlier as part of a daily regimen. No caffeine.
It does seem to have stimulating qualities, but primarily feels very serotonergic without pronounciation of the (for me) classical serotonergic side effects. These are a yucky feeling in the throat, thickened mucous saliva and a bad taste in my mouth, also often accompanied by an increase in skeletal muscle tension (neck>other muscles) and a change in visual perception. There is a considerable decrease in appetite past what amphetamine could be causing (which barely decreases appetite in mid range doses for me if at all).
I am at a total loss as to why this chemical has received so little attention while it's dopaminergic psychosocioinfernogenic cousin mdpv is so well known. Might be due to the naming or due to the date of release, due to advertisement or something along those lines. It feels very mellow, there is no drop in
I've successfully used MDPV on a regular basis before without going manic (despite bp1 diagnosis). I'm therefore not among the peevee hater crowd, but actually value mdpv very highly for what it is, a seemingly highly selective strongly dopaminergic compound with much less peripheral sides than those that accompany administration of other stimulants until a degree of comparable dopaminergic activity is reached.
A direct comparison of the two might not really be in place, but since MDPV is well known by most and the structure/naming convention used leads many to look for similarities, I will do so and first go ahead to say that this compound seems vastly superior for recreational use.
I cannot notice any of the "perversogenic" (wow that actually exists as a medical term) traits of peevee.
I do not have such a high level of clarity and focus. Thought patterns seem less structured and goal oriented, though that will really only show when I'm coding.
My urge to express myself is even higher. If I had someone to talk to right now, I'd probably show some pressure of speech. Ability to cut out redundancies out of my sentences reduced, as must be apparent.
Most prominently, there are empathogenic qualities apparent to an extent that I've not seen in what I consider stimulants, aside from cocaine maybe...
No urge to redose within the first 2h, probably not gonna see much of that, I'm relatively resistant since having acquired a very high level of control over MDPV use.
Duration of come-up seems similar, intensity at this level comparable to 25% as much mdpv. Intensity in a SNDRI or other stimulating SND-ergic compound means to me how well I might be able to control myself into acting like I normally would, not falling victim to my obessessive or compulsive behavioural patterns, frequency of ideas popping up etc. Nonetheless this seems a lot more empathogenic than any stimulant would be. Twice this dosage and I'd be better off to cut off my phones and internet for the night if it's spent alone lol (otherwise I'd probabky contact people I haven't talked to in a while and bother them with whacked out sentimental shit or take on a lighthearted attitude and unintentionally insult someone).
God what a rant. Sorry lol. Very likeable stuff, but nothing for people looking for a pure stimulant. Maybe this should be deleted and that other thread moved back out of the Archives? I don't really see why this substance isn't receiving any attention with all the junk floating around... My neck does seem to start feeling quite stiff though...
edit: I need to stress that I have a bp1 diagnosis, so effects of stimulants generally differ immensely to those shown by people who do not have such diagnosis. Since I imagine a large portion of bluelight users (knowngly or not) carries at least some tendency towards similar patterns in psychoneurophysiological processing, this might be of importance. This one definitely seems like it could induce full blown mania in me, surely moreso than mdpv and even moreso than excessive amphetamine abuse!!
