Dissociatives The Small and Handy MXPCP thread

HELLO ALL, just wanted to share a quick PSA about this stuff. I've been researching it off and on for the past week or so and I've noticed it reliably gives me heart palpitations. Sort of a "thump, then pause, then back to normal rhythm" and it would happen at least a couple times per hour, for the entire duration of my high. This was on 70mg oral + 20mg insufflated (3-4 hours later). I've noticed this effect in doses as low as 15mg insufflated, though. I wasn't sure at first but it really does seem to cause some kind of issue with heart rhythm because I don't normally experience palpitations or anxiety bad enough to induce palpitations. I wasn't even anxious in the moment as this was happening, nor was I particularly physically stimulated or experiencing other heart related symptoms like tachychardia. Just this weird palpitation, and a slight pressure in my chest. I would warn people with heart issues or heart anxiety about this. It is bad enough that I actually threw out the rest of my bag yesterday, even though I actually really liked this stuff. I just can't justify possibly fucking my heart up.

If anyone would be willing to relay this info to the r/researchchemicals subreddit, I would be greatly appreciative. I am permabanned on reddit and unable to post, but I do want this info to get out there because it seems that MXPCP has gotten more popular as of late.

Happy researching, if anyone else has experienced this please share as well, with so little documentation and information about this substance we do need more discussion on this
Update regarding this: I had heart palpitations for about 2 weeks after stopping my use of MXPCP, at that point I had consistently worked through about 800mg over the course of about 7 days. I'm sure this stuff is not a danger to anyone unless you're really abusing the hell out of it and mixing it with other things that affect heart rhythm (for my case, this was kratom, which apparently does interact with similar things physiologically to also contribute to arrhythmia)

Definitely not true. Every single person that has tried this stuff can assure you it's not even on the level of ketamine in terms of being a "good disso", nonetheless indistinguishable from the supposed "best" disso. I wish this shit was like mxe but even as someone who hasn't tried mxe, I can assure you mxpcp completely lacks the headspace and trippiness that mxe is supposed to have, hell it doesn't even come close to the character of ketamine's high. MXPCP is cool and fun and I do enjoy doing it, but its definitely a shallow dissociative with too many unfortunate aspects to justify getting a lot of it at a time
As a very experienced MXE user I agree 100%. MXE was a door to travel shamanism.
MXPCP is still enjoyable at light doses but has no interest for real dissociative experiences... I bought it once to discover and have no plan to buy more...

Totally agree about the dose thing, once you try and push into the territory of high doses it would cause this really weird half-black-out for an hour where you are just sort of flailing around. Really odd that every time this has happened to me I wouldn't just "sit still", it really was like I was on autopilot while also having forgot how to coordinate at all. So uncontrollable that I once awoke from one of these tiny fugue states with scratches and shallow tiny cuts on my body because I kept flailing and scratching myself on the furniture in my room. Once I realized what had happened and that I truly had no memory of whatever had caused me to get those scratches, I was immediately pretty disgusted by MXPCP and felt like it definitely does suck, no matter how much you tell yourself it's good. The most I ever got out of MXPCP was doing like a single 60-80mg oral dose and watching some movies, it felt a lot smoother and nicer when you aren't snorting it. Plus you don't have to deal with the mildly caustic powder. Oral dosing kinda feels like if you extracted a "layer" from the DXM high and put it into a new drug, honestly I quite liked it as a general background disso sort of high, not very pushy at all unlike snorting it.

Just had my first assay of this compound recently (very low dose, sub 20mg); From what little qualia I could get out of the experience, I would have to note a certain rushiness, or almost low-level monoamine release feel even at that low of a dose... I will have to try more before I can confidently say anything about this compound; seems fairly interesting though.
I'm unaware of any arylcyclohexylamines which have been proven to induce monoamine release but I mean, hey I guess it's possible? MXPCP does feel like a meaningful stimulant in many ways, though the pharmacokinetics of arylcyclohexylamine stimulation lie predominantly in dopamine reuptake inhibition, for example 3-MeO-PCP and unsubstituted PCP are stimulating by that mechanism and I would assume that the 2'-Oxo substitution on MXPCP doesn't separate it all that far from 3-MeO-PCP. I only went through a gram or so of MXPCP if I recall correctly, and I've only used 9 unique arylcyclohexylamines in addition to a few other common dissociatives (salvia, nitrous, DXM, memantine, etc.) but MXPCP resembled very few. It had a bit of the warmth of CanKet (2F-O-PCE aka 2-FXE) and it lacked the stupefying effects of ketamine/DCK. It almost had more of a resemblance to the ways that MDA, mescaline and 3-HO-PCE induce a feeling of uh, damn articulating this one is really challenging me. The feeling that the present moment is of inarticulably intense value and the profundity of realizing that the present becomes the past that we feel nostalgia for is what I'm trying to get at here.

I've not used MXE, but I agree that there's a certain "shallowness" or "ceiling" to how far you can push MXPCP if you push it hard. What I found with it though is that if pushed somewhat easily (lower doses) and combined with the right set and setting, it's a top tier drug (of any class, not just dissociatives) for making memories that you look back upon fondly. Weird thing to say, but it's just my two cents on the substance.
