But she already knew

Inside her eyes
Glowed the light from the moon
He could feel it coming
coming so soon

He fell down so softly
When he saw in her eyes
what burst forth like a river
what pulled at the tides

He felt it inside him
Like the clanking of rocks
Like the majestic ocean
pulls the ships from the docks

Like a fire inside her
She'd already known well
Like familiar whispers
that familiar smell

She smiled so softly
And he knew it was true
Tears ran down his face
the sky never was so blue
