the shelf life of regent tests

ive had my mandelin regent for about 8 months now and everything i have tested has gone dark blue for some time now.

i have kept it refrigerated aswell

the reason i am asking some ppl report testing the same pill with the same regent and getting black and purple results but i always get blue.

is my tester old and inaccurate?

the instruction leaflet for EZ Test mandelin says : dark blue/purple/black color for an ecstasy like substance, I do not see a problem here... maybe your interpretation is blue where another sees purple/black (not very uncommon).
