Hey everyone. I have been using Subutex for over six years and am thinking about using this method called (RMOD) to finally get off of Subutex. It stands for "Rodriguez Method of Detoxification". It claims to fully detox you in about 1 day. I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of this ,and if you think this is a viable way to stop taking Subutex Here is the detailed description. http://www.mydrugdetox.com/outpatient-rapid-detox/ I really need to end this ,as I have experienced numerous health problems since I started Subutex. I am also posting this to let people who haven't heard of this ,and maybe as desperate as myself that it is out there . I'm not sure if other doctors around the World are doing similar procedures or if this doctor is the only one ,as he claims to be getting it patented.Any input greatly appreciated. I apologize if I put this in the wrong topic forum.

Sounds like a scam - he has a "special" treatment which he claims works far, far better than anything else available (as long as you're a "good candidate," which is convenient), because of a combination of medications he can't reveal for "proprietary reasons," costs a huge chunk of cash (along with expensive "evaluations" and "followups") and hasn't been trialled or peer-reviewed.

Going off that website I would guess that he's preying on desperate families of addicts, and would proceed with extreme caution.

"If it sounds too good to be true..."

It's bullshit. Your body will be full of bupe for days after your last dose because of the long half life, and nothing short of draining every drip of blood from your body and replacing it fresh is going to change that. Even if you were to do that nothing is going to make the wd process over by 24 hours. Steer well clear.
